A crazy thing happened yesterday. But me being me, I have to give you the background story so you'll understand exactly how weird the situation was for me. source So we've been planning a Hive meet-up in my region. It's set for this Saturday and a bunch of Hivers I've never met are going to be there. I'm sort of in charge of the event but I like to think that we're all in charge coz I'm lazy like that.

Anyways, we initially had the intention of asking everyone if they wanted Hive branded shirts but Hive dropped and everyone got broke so we didn't talk about it anymore. Although @nonsowrites and I figured we'd have to wear these Hive shirts coz we're supposedly "in charge".

Well, I've been broke so I didn't think about it so much until 2 days ago when I realized I'd be able to gather funds for it so I asked everyone on my contacts and I found a person who knew someone who would get it done for me.

Yesterday I sent him the logo and I know he doesn't know about Hive but then after a while, he texted me back saying "Hive Network?" and I was like "Blockchain".

I come from a small town so it's not unheard of for someone I can't remember or someone I don't even know to know me so I wasn't surprised when he called me and said "you just got found".

When he made the delivery to me, he told me that the moment he met the guy, showed him the logo and told him my name, he immediately said @ebingo's sister.

So, my brother happens to be the biggest Hive evangelist ever! He doesn't have a particularly high conversion rate but chances are, if you know him, you know about Hive. He doesn't shut up.

I don't exactly know this guy's username here so I'm hoping he gets tagged. He can get you your Hive branded stuff. I'm considering a face cap next.

I got 2 shirts. 1 for me and 1 for @samostically. Although I think mine's a little too big I think Sam's should be okay on him. I don't mind big shirts coz I'm really tiny. I got both shirts for $20 and they're of amazing quality.

It got me thinking about how cool the Hive word spread. I never would have expected that the random person who got my shirt branded would be on the Blockchain. How cool would it be if a random vendor I patronize in the UK or the US just happens to be on the Blockchain?

I was excited about what happened yesterday. We're just getting started and soon enough Hive will definitely get all the attention it deserves.

Have you ever had this sort of Hive experience? Tell me about it!!!

Thanks for reading
