I think I stumble on goldmines often

My view of money, for as long as I can remember has always been - money lacks direction.

I have this belief that without planning, I'll stumble on wealth from my random investments on different platforms I can barely even remember.

I'm constantly trying to find the right way of doing things, especially where my finances are concerned. I don't spend money. I happen to have a fear of spending money.

I would like to believe that at this point, I only 'invest' money. Whenever I contribute to a cause or give to a person, I consider it an investment.

That being said, I do not give out my money unnecessarily.

Stumbling on Money

I only realized I had a semblance of money early this month.

I decided to take a proper look at my portfolio and do the maths, apparently, I have some money in different places I hadn't bothered checking for a while.

That was the morale I needed to quit my job.

I had started aggressively building on my earnings around this period last year and although I stopped due to some challenges and mistakes, I had gathered some money from these activities.

This makes me wonder - 'how does money work?'

My brother would often say there's no right or wrong way here. There are just rewards for activity (or something like that)

I guess he's right.

Some days I get really low or even no upvotes and other days it gets better. Rewards for activities.

We talked about consistent little rewards ensuring sustainability over inconsistent mighty rewards. I'm learning to appreciate my small wins.

I'm getting a hang of these things every day and constantly working on new ideas to increase the money in my portfolio.

In the end, as much as we love the freedom of speech here, and the value we give and get, there's the drive of money.

I write for therapy and pay.
