Random Hive Possibilities
I like to believe that I spend my free time a little differently from others because I have a lot more free time than others and I tend to think from many angles. Image Source Like most people, I'm beginning to believe that the world is kind of getting exhausted with ideas and just constantly reinventing itself in every possible way. So we think of ideas that already exist and try to come up with ways of combining other ideas that exist with them to make them seem new and more interesting.
I may be wrong and that's okay. However, wouldn't it be cool to bring some more already existing ideas and integrate them into Hive, just to see how well these ideas would fit into the world we've built for ourselves here?
Cool Hive Integrations
I don't know a lot about the code base and how the back end runs here on Hive so I won't focus on that, I'm just going to bring up some cool ideas that I feel would bring a little more fun here and maybe some awesome education.
The first thought I had was a Mentor To Earn addition. Earning a secondary token from receiving mentorship on your career or skill acquisition or something and also getting a token for hours spent mentoring.
I feel like mentorship is going set to become more of a big deal in the coming months and web3 could harness this like ADPList has and help people gain a lot of value and earn through some gamification of the process.
Secondly, there's the Answer To Earn addition. So, I'm already working on a project like this but basically, it involves people earning by answering survey questions and taking part in random activities like Product Testing and earning some tokens for doing that. Users could also earn from posting their products to be tested. Maybe earn more when they receive a lot of votes on their product's awesomeness.
I'm still working through the deliverables of these ideas, especially the second one coz it seems like a really needed project for StartUps and researchers. I haven't done a lot of research on it but when I do, I'll be writing more about my findings and my entire design process.
Conclusion
There are very few groundbreaking ideas available out there right now and all I see people do is reinvent ideas and fix things that don't work or add things that should be there.
I hope to bring one of these ideas I have to reality at some point but until then, I'll keep researching and building on them and maybe, just maybe, I'll get that big break.
