It's the reason why education or the process of being educated especially in most African countries are currently redundant and needing a total overhaul.

I think it's the "process" rather than education that requires a total overhaul. While we know our educational system is utter trash, education itself here is not entirely useless.

For one thing, even the process has been proven to build us into more resilient beings in comparison with other parts of the world. We can take on anything because the process has made us suffer.

Education regardless of how useless it seems sometimes is the one thing that actually gets us out of this dump faster than any other thing. In the absence of it, we would need to spend a lot of money and time gathering skills that are globally recognised and that takes a lot more finance.

Yes, there are online platforms for that, but sometimes, they are not as recognised unless they're from accredited global institutions which are very expensive still.
