My initial introduction to the world of crypto came with several questions that I've still been unable to answer for the last 4 years. I can't exactly remember what these unanswerable questions were but I think right now they're useless.

Cryptocurrencies have seen an incredible amount of development from 4 years ago up until today.

I had no idea Steem was a currency when I first got on Steemit. I was that lost. I was simply told to write and get paid. So I wrote and got paid. Things are different now. The understanding of crypto has become wide and needed.

There are paid courses online for understanding this subject and the technology that it operates with.

I think if I had been introduced to cryptocurrency for the first time today, I would have some background knowledge but not as much as I do right now.

4 years ago, Steemit was hard to navigate. At least, for me it was. It was decentralized and had no business with Tron, I think. It had potential and a bright future on its own.

I came back on Steemit after about a year away and I observed the clamour for a breakout and eventually the inception of Hive. I was pleased.

Hive came with better navigation, as far as I know. It was easier to understand and I'm glad to have seen the growth of Hive and now Leofinance up until this point.

The point I'm making by all this is that: The industry is ever-evolving.

I read today about the UN considering blockchain technology to hold a solution to climate problems and it only makes sense that a technology created for one thing turns out to boost other aspects of humanity.

On a different account, I read about blockchain technology aiding some UK hospitals in the distribution of Covid-19 vaccines within their province.

Other industries are not backing down with this development and some countries are beginning to see the silver lining.

On a different report, I read about how Tanzania is taking the lead among East African countries to inculcate bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies into their system. I love it!

Asides from Nigeria, South Africa and maybe Ghana, Egypt, Kenya and a few other African countries, I didn't see much of the continent on the cryptocurrency development roadmap.

The future is bright for us and I anticipate more growth over time. I can't even begin to imagine what to expect in the next 5 years.
