Sports with spectators help to increase tourism and entertainment.
Sport is a good source of entertainment and enjoyment. It also help to generate economic activities and promote tourism. Media rights of popular sports events have million dollars deal. COVID-19 pandemics stopped the sports activities which resulted not a great loss of entertainment but also economic activities.
Sports events have been restored couple of months ago behind closed door. Closed door means no spectator. Thinking behind organizing matches between closed door is to avoid spreading of covid-19 cases. Matches are broadcast on media & social media to generate economic activities and provide entertainment to viewer. Actually it is a good way to avoid spreading of covid-19. The way the matches started behind closed door it will eventually open door for spectators. Today while watching cricket series between Australia and India, I am amazed to see spectators in the ground. Off coarse, there were few spectators in the ground due to covid-19 pandemics, but it is a good sign, as it will help to promote tourism beside giving more fun to game.
