When people share their testimonies of how blockchain and cryptocurrency impact their life economically and financially, I see reasons with them, cause for some people Crypto has really impacted their life in that they have been able to foot some of their bills and solve some financial challenges.

I remember a time I had to write an examination but the money I got from my parents wasn't enough. I was told a particular amount of money for the purchase of the examination form, but when I got to the center and ordered the form, the price I was told was more than the money I went therewith. I was stranded and I didn't want to tell my parents about it, perhaps they would have given me the money to add up but I just didn't want to bother them with it. It may not have been a burden to them but I understand how difficult things have been so far so I wanted to be responsible for myself. By taking some responsibility for myself.

I had nowhere to get the money to add to the one my parents gave me. I was not working, nor doing anything to fetch me the money, all I did was blogging, I write on different platforms. There was no better option than to get the money I needed from my hive tokens. I sold part of my hive tokens and got the small amount of money I needed to add up and purchase my examination form. I didn't tell my parents about it, I just went ahead to do it and I was more satisfied I was able to do that on my own without having to bother them.

Got the form and sat for the exam, I even used the balance to settle other school things I needed to settle. And my parents were even surprised that I wasn't asking them or talking about any other school thing that needed money. I started taking responsibility for myself and the only source of that came from Crypto. If I was to write about all the things cryptocurrency has helped me to do, I might not finish it today. This is another way Crypto has impacted my life and finance, by funding my education.

What would I have done in a time like that if I had not known or been introduced to blogging? Perhaps I would go around looking for jobs that at the end of the day it will amount to nothing. Calculating the cost of your spending alone is more than the salary you get here for a typical Nigerian employee. So what is the reward in working your ass out but get nothing in return?

The saying " Working like an elephant and eating like an ant". Most Nigerians face this because of the poor state of our economy. I never regret once, the day I made my way to this space. I like it here and I will make the most out of it. I will keep blogging and enjoying what I do. And the rewards for my work will come later cause I believe in crypto.
