A day at the beach
Doing all & nothing for #beersaturday week 161
This week is called “holiday” and therefore I did little work and mainly relaxing.
But I found a few new beer and quickly I did "Open, taste, picture & post" or like other do since 161 weeks #beersaturday.

Vacation mode
yes, today no office but a lot more like this.
A day full of relaxing and fun.
First some activities
Here at the islands in the north is a nice an continues wind. This is great for all the sail ships and as well for us and our toys.
It looks so simple, but after one hour is is very close to real work.

Quick turns and fast speed - what a fun.
I found a SPATEN
After so much activity, my body was dehydrated and had a big need for some B-Vitamin.

What other say
Clear golden colour, medium durable white head. Malty nose with some hay and grassy hops. Maltforwarded sweetness, biscuit, metallic aftertaste, grassy hops. Medium body and carbonation, slick texture, sweet and a bit boozy finish.

Now back to relax mode
Some time in a wicker beach chair while listen to the noise of all that frisky seagulls. I saw the birds stealing some bread from the people beneath us.
The Knust Pils
This salty air at the baltic see has a horrible side effect. You get damn thirsty and suddenly, there was this local pils beer showing up.
What they say about this beer
The stiff breeze does not blow gently around your nose, but almost knocks you down? Thanks to the pilsner from Knust von Fehmarn, you still don't want to leave the island. Not even in winter.
This pilsner is as northern German as it gets: fresh, pleasantly sparkling and of course very tart. Tettnanger and Magnum provide the bitterness, while Cascade takes care of a light, fresh citrus note. Don't take too long: round Pils from Fehmarn.
The next activity
It took my quite a long long talk to get this old chick to allow to sit next to her. Even after singing that old police song.

Ginger beer
Ohmmmm, some of them are really nice, but this one was so sweet that we have to give it to the ladies who actually love it.
The story of this day
After a nice and long breakfast starting 9:30 a friend of mine showed up to help me with all the work this day. We got our beach chairs and started with this heavy relaxing day.

Ups, another Spaten
Late late afternoon and many people where already leaving the beach, there was another of the delicious Bavarian beer stopping by at the beach. Sure, we had to help that beer out of the bootle.
