It's been said before probably, but it doesn’t take long before the bitcoin halving takes place, one of the most important events in the world of cryptocurrency. Such a halving, which takes place in the media in May, can have major consequences for the price of the bitcoin. For bitcoin traders and enthusiasts, the question is: will the rate rise or not? In other words: is a new exchange rate record above $ 20,000 waiting for us? That would be great for all crypto is my guess.

What is bitcoin halving? Bitcoin halving, is a block halving, means that the fixed reward for miners is halved. Miners are producers. This is a process of reducing the speed at which new cryptocurrency units are generated. This reward is at the same time the inflo and distribution of new bitcoin on the market.

Yes a new one, well overall there are new things happening so like Steemit and Tron, #bitcoin couldn’t stay behind. The halving influences the supply of new bitcoins and therefore also the price. The reward is now 12.5 Bitcoins per block. After the halving it is lowered to 6.25 percent.

From July 2019, bitcoin halving has only taken place twice before. This was on November 28, 2012 and on July 9, 2016. At the time of the first halving event, the price for bitcoin was $ 12.31 and during the second half it was $ 650.63. Is the price going up? If we look at history, the price generally goes up after the halving. Whether this is a reason to buy bitcoins can only be said with certainty when the time has come. It is important to keep an eye on the current bitcoin rate. Furthermore, it is expected that investors will replenish their stock of bitcoins in the coming months. A lot of bitcoin was sold during the past six months, but according to news.btcdirect.eu more will be bought in the first months of this year.

There are also speculations about the role of miners, because what will they do? Crypto mining is the solution of complex calculation formulas to create cryptocurrency, by means of hardware or software. It could just be that they are going to save up in the coming month and not sell their bitcoins, because they think the price will rise by half. It could be that they might borrow dollars to cover the energy costs of mining. Almost 300 billion dollars is currently circulating in the cryptomarket. Of that, 190 billion dollars is bitcoin, the rest consists of altcoins. More money is expected to flow from altcoins to bitcoin. Finally, the CIO expects from Altana Digital that the bulls will return to the market. I say send them to the Steemisfere aswell and let the bull rage for a little year. All in all this is a projection as always all that’s happening in the world can influence if a bull is coming or not. And you only need to buy bit or alt coins when you have money which you don’t need. It’s always a hazard and time is off the essence when you want to see a profit. Same in steem, I see people on here daily, that think that with a copy paste 3 sentence piece, I am not even calling it a blog, think they will be millionaires. I hope that is true for all of us but I know that’s a fairytale. A nice fairytale by the way. I know the interesting history and future of #bitcoin and altcoins will always be food for blogging.
