HODL is the most promising approach when investing in cryptocurrencies, analysts at Binance Research are sure.

Not holding #bitcoin on Dec, 7 2017 means you would have missed its largest daily absolute gain of $ 3.608 (25%).

They found that Bitcoin receives the lion's share of the growth within a couple of days - the rest of the time, the price changes are small. So, these “couple of days” are difficult to predict and very easy to miss if you do not adhere to the HODL investment strategy.

The chart above shows how bitcoin's profitability decreases as the most profitable days are excluded, and how in parallel, lost profits increase.

As an example, the experts cited the date of December 7, 2017 - on this day the largest indicator of price growth was recorded - $ 3600. Those who did not go at that moment literally in an instant lost 25% of the possible investment effect.
