BLUF: Nobody has any freakin idea.

More Serious Answer: It depends on your timeframe.

Where is Bitcoin going in the short term? There's no way to tell. If you are a scalper and had solid brass balls you could have made a lot of money scalping the past few days. BTC/USD has had some wild price swings. Sometimes swinging violently up and back down within a few hours. I'm not trading right now, because I just don't know where this market is going within the next few days.

Where is Bitcoin going medium term? My bias is down. I think BTC will bounce around a bit like it has been for maybe a few more days, then within a week or two we will see $9,000 BTC again. Maybe even $8,000 BTC. I have a line drawn from a previous level at $7,400. I would LOVE for it to get that low, but I am often wrong and will probably be wrong on this one.

Where is Bitcoin going long term? Here I'm as certain as I am about anything that Bitcoin is going up significantly. I don't know exactly when the FOMO will begin. Maybe this year, before Christmas? Maybe early 2020? Maybe mid 2020? Who knows? However I feel that within three years BTC will be priced somewhere between $100,000 to $1,000,000.

I'm not a market whiz by any means, but I read a lot of market whizzes on Twitter. There are so many that are pointing out warning signs for a big crash in almost every financial instrument. Only gold and Bitcoin look like safe bets right now.

Good luck! And know that I'm no kind of financial advisor. I'm just a clown. This post should be taken as the ramblings of a clown, and not as financial advice.
