Will quantum computing to the end of crypto's (BTC)
What do ya'll think about quantum computing and how it could kill crypto's?
This is something i think about from time to time. I watched a bunch of doc's on youtube a few years back and it always plays in the back of mind that when quantum computing is possible, crypto and all my holding's will become worthless.
What is Quantum computing quickly
In the simplest terms, a normal computer run in code of 1 are 2 giving only 2 states, on and off. Quantum computers run on code that can be either 1 are 2 and both 1 and 2. A password that would take a supercomputer today 10,000 years to crack would take a quantum computer a few minutes. The first nation to build a quantum computer will rule the world.
It's very scary
Crypto's would actually be the least of our worries to be honest. These computers could do what would take super computers today thousands of years to do in a few minutes. They would have the power cure every illness known to man, care world hungry and provide us with the blueprints to becoming a multi planet species, basically a better world/life to every single person on the planet but they could and are more likely to be used by army's, are to predict future stocks prices, in general to rule the world. No password will be safe and the world will change. With a quantum computer, it would be very easy for someone to break into the FED's network and issue $100 trillion into circulation fooking the world up. It'll prob not come to something like that but still.......
