Decentralized YouTube like platforms are the future for content creators

Looking for a YouTube competitor these days is hard to come by.

Sure there is Netflix, Hulu, and Amazon Prime but honestly, there are none when it comes to smaller Youtube channels.

As you may know, my YouTube Channel was terminated last week for violating their "Guidelines". I was told that my content was "Harmful and Dangerous". A few other YouTubers were hit as well but luckily for them, they were able to resolve their issues.

Me, not so lucky.

YouTube said here:

"Our team has reviewed your content, and, unfortunately, we think it violates our spam, deceptive practices and scams policy"

If you continue to read the image I posted, you'll notice that they flagged a video where I was discussing Crypto.com, a more than legitimate company within the ever so controversial crypto space.

Mind you, this particular link that was used for this specific video was a new link personalized for me. I only had this new link for 1 video. I decided to have crpyto.com change it back to the previous link only because I have many videos from the past that had banners showing that one. Wouldn't have been able to change them w/o deleting the videos

So how is it Spam if I only used it once? How is this in any way deceptive or a "Scam"?

It's not, yet Google doesn't care to look into the issue. I received an email back from my appeal which basically says "GFY"

Its unfortunate that this has happened but its reality and I think it will continue to happen as YouTube becomes larger and larger.

That said, we as content creators need to start posting on sites that threaten to dethrone the behemoth that Youtube has turned into
