There are some regions that might see travel for the most part shutdown for the rest of the summer. Many others are having to cancel their planned trips for the fall as well. And now, there are several airlines asking the government to get involved and launch a coronavirus testing program so that they can finally get back to resuming travel as normal.

Millions of people have had to cancel and adjust their travel plans. With many resorting to closer-to-home options that they are allowed to engage in at this time.

Airlines such as American Airlines, United, and British Airways, are looking to get the government to hurry up on making changes to the current travel situation.

They want to start testing for international flights, so that travel services between the U.S. and Europe can resume once again, as well as for other areas.

The testing might include testing all of the crew and passengers to make sure that nobody is sick before leaving, so that those who are traveling don't need to be subjected to any quarantine or entry restrictions when they arrive.

There are already some regions checking temperature for when people arrive, as well as businesses also.

Travel to a large extent is still on hold while borders stay closed in many places, and self-imposed quarantine rules are in place for different areas.
