Are you kidding us?

@justinsunsteemit posted on Twitter. The tweet itself is relatively harmless, the migration from Steemit to the Tron network. But what makes me puke now is the linked article.

@justinsunsteemit hat sich auf Twitter gemeldet. Der Tweet an sich ist relativ harmlos, die Migration von Steemit auf das Tron Netzwerk. Aber was mich jetzt schon wieder zum kotzen bringt, ist der verlinkte Artikel.

What does this text tell us? Quite simply, it conveys an image in which all these DApps would run on Steemit. But they run on Steem! Steemit Inc. runs the bulk of the API nodes and most of the images are stored directly on them, but that's a point we all know. Yesterday in the Witness Talk we were already talking about this, we need more API nodes. On Twitter @therealwolf has already taken a stand on the whole thing.

Was sagt uns dieser Text? Ganz einfach, er vermittelt ein Bild, in dem all diese DApps auf Steemit laufen würden. Sie laufen aber auf Steem! Steemit Inc. betreibt zwar die Masse der API Nodes und die meisten Bilder werden direkt bei ihnen gespeichert, aber das ist ein Punkt der uns allen bewusst ist. Gestern im Witness Talk ging es schon um das Thema, wir brauchen mehr API Nodes. Auf Twitter hat @therealwolf schon zu dem ganzen Stellung bezogen.

Was damit gemeint ist können wir uns denken, es gibt keinen Grund nicht weiterhin vorsichtig zu sein. Die Ankündigungen gestern klangen schon fast gut. Aber schauen wir Mal wie viel Scheiße noch auf uns zu kommt.

Tronlink - did you guys even deal with Steem?

Und damit es von all dem noch nicht genug ist. Tronlink hat einen Tweet zu dem ganzen Thema veröffentlicht, mit einem Link zu einen ihrer Posts. Tronlink ist eng mit der Tron Fundation verbunden, weshalb ich von ihnen eine bessere Recherche erwartet hätte.

And to top it all off. Tronlink has posted a tweet on the whole topic, with a link to one of their posts. Tronlink is closely connected to the Tron Foundation, so I would have expected better research from them.

With the announcement of STEEMIT platform moving onto TRON network, the token mechanism has been changed and now it follows the rule of TRON token.

Wie soll das gehen? Ich für meinen Teil kann mir gerade nicht vorstellen, wie man die Funktionen des Steem wie Delegationen, die Datenbankfunktion usw. in einen TRON Smart Contract packen will, ohne das Tron Netzwerk zu überlasten. Aber schauen wir was nächste Woche kommt. Der Artikel wird nur noch besser.

How's that supposed to work? For my part, I can't imagine how to put the steem functions such as delegations, database functions, etc. into a TRON Smart Contract without overloading the Tron network. But let's see what comes next week. The article will only get better.

Schlechte Recherche. Steem ist kein EOS Token. Steem ist eine eigene Blockchain. Wie kommt man auf die Idee das Steem auf einer Blockchain laufen, die 2017 gestartet wurde und der Steem seit 2016 existiert?

Bad research. Steem is not an EOS token. Steem is its own block chain. How do you get the idea that Steem runs on a blockchain that was started in 2017 and Steem exists since 2016?

Falsch! Der Steem als Blockchain läuft weiter, solange es Witnesse gibt, die Nodes zur Verfügung stellen und APIs betreiben.

Was soll ich dazu sagen. Ein guter Grund weiterhin auf Steem zu bleiben. Hier braucht man nicht noch einen anderen Token, man braucht nur seine Steem Power, um damit sowohl zu Kuratieren, als auch Aktionen durchführen.

Wie zur Hölle kommt man auf die Idee, solche Artikel zu veröffentlichen? Wenn man unbedingt die eine Millionen Accounts auf Steem in seinem eigenen Ökosystem haben will, sollte man eines nicht tun. Unsicherheit bei den Nutzern schaffen. Eine Koexistenz würde uns allen gut tun, aber diese Aritkel, welche von der absoluten Übernahme schwärmen und Halbwahrheiten verbreiten sind nur Mist. Damit verliert man vor allem eines, unser Vertrauen - beziehungsweise es entsteht nicht einmal eines.

How the hell do you get the idea to publish such articles? If there's one thing you don't want to do, if you want to have the one million accounts on Steem in your own ecosystem, there's one thing you shouldn't do. Create uncertainty among users. Coexistence would be good for all of us, but these articles that rave about absolute adoption and spread half-truths are just crap. Above all, one thing is lost, our trust - or rather, there is not even one.
