The most minimalist tea shop
For some of you who don't know I have been all crazy busy about the upcoming Boba tea shop. If you don't know which shop is that, it's [probably] the most minimalist boba tea shop / tea bar exists.. I have actually shared a photo of it with you guys a few days ago.
The reason is not 100% I love minimalism but also, short on cash as always. Anyways, the spot turned out so cute. Some of my friends laughed and some loved its look. It's growing on me so yes, I think it's pretty cool :)
Talking about boba tea recipe..
Honestly, I don't think this kinda thing could have such recipes. **It's simple*. I have browsed around and they all use pretty much the same ingredients : milk, tea, sugar, tapioca pearls, syrup, etc.
I think, the key is what brands / how good they are.. the products we choose for our recipes. So many types of sugar out there, so many brands of fresh milk, big and small tapioca pearls.. That's probably *the most fun / most difficult part to find out..
Who would want to buy a 100THB cup of boba tea?
Who would want to drink shit milk tea with fake cream?
I get my stuffs from both supermarket and internet. I try to choose the best one out there and at the same time, don't cost an arm and a leg as it would also rise the cost of the products. I got some right ones already but some, still need to find out and do more experiment.
Here come the experiment!
Yesterday, I have my cousins and sister come stay over. From 5ish till midnight, we drank and eat sooooo much tea, boba pearls, juice, milk and all that. I got super duper good ones and some that my cousin shake their heads..
It's probably not as easy as saying it but hey, we had some fun :)
One thing I have found pretty creative to add on is this type of boba.. It's not actually the typical ones they use out there in the market using tapioca starch. This one is *konjac. Soooo low on calories and so much fiber. People who's on a diet could eat this without any problem so.. I'm proud to present!
No, it's not just this. So much more need to be done before launch. The packaging, containers, logos, websites/pages.. then hardest part I guess would be marketing and having them sold..
