It’s funny, isn’t it? How in the morning Bitcoin can be worth 7500, and at night it’s worth 10000. It’s pretty silly that anyone really thinks they can predict the price of bitcoin. It seems to me that Bitcoin is really just a game of chance in the short run, and I’m talking years. In the long run you either think it’s going to dominate the world or be an old fad, and that seems less like gambling, but in the short run I’m not sure why you’d bother trying to guess what’s going to happen. I say that because I’m trying to guess what’s going to happen, and I am maybe right, but I don’t have the gumption to try to do anything about it. And hindsight is 20/20

At 10,166 I sold $10 because a part of me thought… yep, this is too crazy volatile. I was right, as it fell to 9,777 shortly thereafter. But I’m not willing to make larger bets than $10 here and there. Because long run, Stina’s right. We decided it was a good idea. We’re sticking with it!

So, as much as it would have been nice to sell at 12,500, rebuy at 7,500, and have MORE, it’s not a risk that’s fun to take.
