Hive is already home to the worlds largest dApp and lo and behold it's a game! @splinterlands TCG clocks in at apx 5.6k active users. Demonstrating that blockchain games have the ability to reach, engage, and sustain an audience.

Collectibles is already a 200 billion industry and blockchain is poised to demand an increased share of this market year over year.

There is value to these assets, and these assets are the people here on Hive that build games, share their knowledge. Creators that generate content and promote gaming, learning how to collaborate remotely with community members to complete tasks.
The larger our blockchain gaming community grows, the more knowledgeable we become, and the more value we lock into the chain. This human capital generates and adds value to the Hive blockchain, and it needs to be acknowledged and retained.
