Recently, this post has been most engaged blog created in the Sports Talk Social Community. The post was penned out of a deeo concern for the token I had so loved and invested a great part of my steem which accumulates close to the 10 million stake mark. I did this because I saw a future with the SPORTS token.

SPORTS now traded on Hive-engine is a token earned for posting sports related contents on the hive blockchain. It is one of the cheapest token on the hive-engine market and as well as one the tribe with the most published contents. While expressing my fears with the future of the token following the dwindling price, I must say, I was discouraged.

However, thanks to @Patrickulrich and @cryptoandcoffee who engaged that blog and have spiced my interest in the community as well as the token - SPORTS. I wish to share some takeouts of their engagement which would be of great encouragement to anyone who is still thinking whether or not to invest in SPORTS.

If you had worked out what 100 Million sports is right now in Dollar value you would be shocked. At a 45 cent Hive it is $1350 which is pretty cool and that is at 0.00003 so if we could get it back to 0.001 which is not massive that would be $45 000. As long as Hive has value so does sports at whatever price that might be. I think most users don't see this and have overlooked the bigger picture. A $10 Hive at todays price would have you holding nearly $30 000 Dollars worth in value. Who knows what all these values will be in 5 years and that is where I am looking. Everything I do in life is calculated in numbers as that what makes sense to me and why I am positive about Sports and Hive. - @cryptoandcoffee

I have read the above comment by @cryptoandcoffee time and again and each time it sends strong signals to my investment drive. I could remember sometime last year when SPORTS was 0.0003 steem and I didn't buy much as supposed because I feared if the price could rise again, but over a weekend, I saw SPORTS at 0.0015. That was over a 400% rise in worth and those who took advantage of the dip were glad they did. We all can tell what happened to hive last week with over 200% gain from $0.13 to $0.95 in four days.

Indeed, I have learnt that cryptocurrency investment should not be seen as a short-term investment. This is because despite bitcoin having reached $20 and has witnessed 2 halvening, adoption of cryptocurrency is yet to be relevant considering the population of the world and the number of crypto users.

As of the time of publishing this post, owning a stake of 100 million SPORTS is about $992 only. After the covid-19 experience, many sports organisation would see the need to embrace cryptocurrency.

What decisions have you made concerning investing in SPORTS?
