Reluctant goodbye to the holidays
The holidays are a joyful and tumultuous time. I never feel ready when they arrive, find myself rather overwhelmed in the middle of them, and feel like they went by too fast when they are done!
Tomorrow I will finally take all the decorations down. I will put away my Christmas village, the ornaments on the tree, the decorations on my mantle, and look forward to a special year ahead of enjoying the seasons, the people and the events that transpire in a year’s time.
But to celebrate the magic of this season of light, I will share a few pictures.

Every year I leave some strings of lights up through the winter months. They really help us get through our long cold season!
