Coronavirus Shutdown Day 15 in Austria: Cash is history, Bitcoin and Crypto is the future!

Gesundheitsstatus: Ok, kann halbwegs gut schlafen :)

Es schneit in Wien. Weniger Autoabgase. Die Luftqualität wird von Tag zu Tag besser. Die Welt kann so schön sein.

Öffnungszeiten werden weiter eingeschränkt. Hofer (Aldi) will bereits um 18h zusperren. Andere Shops könnten folgen. Warteschlangen vor Mobilfunkgeschäften auf der Mariahilfer Str.

Auch Optiker haben ein paar Stunden pro Tag geöffnet.

Manche Geschäfte akzeptieren kein Bargeld mehr.

Bargeld ist Geschichte. (Nein, es wird nicht abgeschafft, bleibt als Notfallwährung erhalten, verliert aber massiv an Bedeutung.)

Bargeld ist veraltet, teuer, unhygienisch und kann im schlimmsten Fall sogar Viren übertragen.

Den meisten Menschen sind die Kosten hinter dem Bargeld und dem Eurosystem nicht bewusst. Glauben Bargeld ist gratis. Kommt aus dem Bankomat, Strom aus der Steckdose 😂

Tatsächlich bezahlen wir das ineffiziente und korrupte Geldsystem mit. Jeder. Tausende Notenbanker, Glaspaläste, Banken, Bankomaten, Logistikaufwand, Strom, etc. Daran denkt fast niemand.

Bitcoin und Krypto ist das Geld des 21. Jahrhunderts. Digitalisierung des Geldsystem ist unaufhaltbar. Mehr denn je.

Donald Trump bereitet ein 2000 (!) Milliarden Hilfspaket vor. Österreich 38 Milliarden. Jobs werden zu 80-90% vom Staat weiter bezahlt. Bulgarien zahlt 60% weiter, Betriebe 40%.

Der Euro wird nach der Krise weniger wert sein. Staatsschulden und Geldmenge werden inflationiert. Der Euro weiter verwässert. Jobs weiter bezahlen mit Schulden ist nicht nachhaltig. Das geht 1-2 Monate gut, aber nicht Jahre. Wirtschaft muss und wird sich der neuen Situation anpassen. Viele Firmen werden pleite gehen. Der Shutdown wird tiefe Spuren hinterlassen. Ewiges Weiterzahlen ist unfair gegenüber jenen, die weiterarbeiten und verwässert den Euro und zukünftige Gehälter noch mehr. BGE während der Krise wäre fairer. Druckerpresse kann keinen nachhaltigen Wohlstand erzeugen. Das war schon immer so.

Health status: Ok, can sleep reasonably well :)

It is snowing in Vienna. Less car exhaust fumes. The air quality gets better every day. The world can be so beautiful.

Opening hours are further reduced. Hofer (Aldi) wants to close already at 6 p.m. Other shops may follow. Queues in front of mobile phone shops on Mariahilfer Street.

Opticians are also open a few hours a day.

Some shops no longer accept cash.

Cash is history. (No, it will not be abolished, it will remain as an emergency currency, but will lose it relevance completely).

Cash is obsolete, expensive, unhygienic and in the worst case can even transmit viruses.

Most people are not aware of the costs behind cash and the Eurosystem. Believe Cash is free. Comes from the ATM, electricity from the socket 😂

In fact, we pay for the inefficient and corrupt monetary system. Everyone. Thousands of central bankers, glass palaces, banks, ATMs, logistics, electricity, etc. Almost nobody thinks about that.

Bitcoin and Crypto is the money of the 21st century. Digitalization of the monetary system is unstoppable. More than ever.

Donald Trump is preparing a 2000 (!) billion aid package. Austria 38 billion. Jobs are 80-90% paid for by the state. Bulgaria continues to pay 60%, companies 40%.

The Euro will be worth less after the crisis. National debts and the money supply will be inflated. The euro will be further diluted. Paying jobs with debts is not sustainable. This can last 1-2 months, but not years. The economy must and will adapt to the new situation. Many companies will go bankrupt. The shutdown will leave deep marks. Prolonged payment of salaries by the state is unfair to those who continue to work and dilutes the euro and future salaries even more. Basic income during the crisis would be fairer. However, the printing press cannot generate sustainable prosperity. That has always been the case.
