We have all heard the news that John McAfee, a famous businessman and stock exchange, has been arrested in Spain and will be extradited to the United States.

So what is the reason for the arrest?

What led to the arrest of the famous anti-virus program developer?

It is due to John McAfee entering the world of digital currencies, but indirectly.

Meaning that he was promoting cryptocurrencies and emerging IPOs in return for millions of dollars and took advantage of his widespread fame to spread misleading tweets. He once stated that Bitcoin could reach a million dollars in 2020 and then announced that it was just a joke.

Then he began promoting new emerging currencies for $ 41 million on Twitter.

This prompted many supervisory and tax authorities to demand that he pay the tax money, but he evaded that by transferring the money to other accounts with different names.

Yesterday, he was arrested in Spain and will be deported to the United States. Punishments that may make him face 30 years of imprisonment if the case against him is proven.

As is evident from the summons, the plaintiff said:

McAfee erroneously declared himself a financial professional and / or professional advisor when he proposed some ICOs, giving the feeling that he analyzed these organizations, that they were taking advantage of his specialized ability, and that he was keen to invest his own money in these projects .

Truth can be told, however, McAfee's tweets were cached as down payments that were concealed as a fair project advisor.

To assets withdraw, McAfee financial urged professionals to purchase protection sold in some ICO without revealing that he was simultaneously trying to sell his private property and paying an outsider to pay it.

So do digital currencies turn into centralized and subject to taxes, or is it exceptional?
