Converting Bitcoin to fiat how challenging can it be?

Getting into crypto might be easier or rather converting fiat to Bitcoin might be easier than doing the reverse.

Personally for me I have had no reason to start spending my crypto holdings and I really wish I don't have to spend them now as I'm looking at a long term accumulation of it, possibly 5 years depending on how much appreciation my holdings have gained.
So that leaves me with less worry on how to convert Bitcoin to fiat.

Amongst the list the one preferable to me is a Bitcoin debit card, I have used Xapo debit card in the past but it's service was later canceled in Africa, so I have been on the look out for another Bitcoin debit card usable in South Africa.
I am completely against any of my crypto going through the traditional bank before getting to me, I don't want those vultures anywhere near my crypto.

Another means I would look into is Over The Counter sale of Bitcoin.
