Ethereum 2.0 a much talked about and needed update on the Ethereum blockchain is nearing launch, November isn't far away, though the DeFi world could do with a faster, less transaction fees on Ethereum like yesterday already.

With all going the update will be great for DeFi the new trend of 2020 as DeFi is still yet to establish some legitimacy with lots of rug pull projects out there.

Currently, Ethereum 2.0 is in its Medalla testnet, a public network created by the Ethereum Foundation that acts as a sandbox before the mainnet. Having recently been fixed after crashing in August, the testnet appears to be running smoothly. Source

DeFi has got me keen on the Ethereum 2.0 update and with HIVE and LEO being wrapped in order to access the Ethereum blockchain for DeFi purpose, it has called for my attention. Generally this should be a success for all that use the the Ethereum blockchain and a step forward in terms of development on one of the world'd busiest blockchain.

2020 have been exciting for crypto despite the pandemic, a more exciting 2021 looms!

Cheers
