While inflation is on the rise in almost all parts of the world, some countries are racing to top the list.

Top on the list is Venezuela with 1813% and have actually dropped from over 2000% which is quite an improvement but far from making life easier for it people in terms of purchasing power.

Zimbabwe should be no surprise, famous for its dollars, the country ranks second with inflation rate at 659%, a better rate compare to Venezuela but also far from what a Zimbabwean would wish for.

Although not much is known about Sudan in terms of finances these days, inflation-based growth is still a very real problem in the country. With a current inflation rate of 167%, it certainly fares a lot better than the two countries above. However, its inflation rate is rising, as the previously recorded percentage was 144%. Something appears to be brewing behind the scenes, and it does not look too great.

While Sundan is out of the way from the above quote, Lebanon is holding it down on fourth spot with inflation rate at 120% which I'm of not surprised with the protest that went on in that country few months ago.

Suriname occupies fifth spot with 40% up by 2%, a nation which is less known, hopefully it doesn't get worse than it's currently stage.

I am actually surprised Nigeria is not in the top five considering the kind of useless leaders the country boasts of.
