It is always interesting to think about the impact Hive could have on the world, especially in a country like mine, Nigeria, the possibilities are almost endless. When we look at the current state of the world and how the pandemic is changing the way we live, work and earn a living, it is without doubt that we will be experiencing a major paradigm shift. A paradigm shift is a major change in the concepts and practices of how something works or is accomplished.. And to be honest I can't help but see Hive at the center of it all, much like Bitcoin back in 2009 and the internet back in 1989.

The innovation of Hive has ushered us into the era of tokenizing the web(Web 3.0), this is much bigger of a deal than most recognize (however imperfect) and will inevitably become a paramount part of our lives going forward. "It is commonly said that to see where one is going, he must take a look at where he is coming from."

The evolution of Web 2.0. led to the creation and existence of social media, today we see how the social media as a whole has positively transformed the lives and businesses of many around the world, from influencing to advertising and marketing, such like has never been seen/felt before.

However, entering into web 3.0, through the Hive Blockchain we see tokenization of the web come to life. On the surface, we see Hive.blog rewarding people for their activities and for sharing their contents on their blogs with its native token $Hive, we see the gamification of money and how it is being distributed into the hands of many, but a saying goes, "If what you see is all you're seeing, then you aren't seeing all there is to see" this is a very prevalent statement that describes the current situation of Hive Blockchain, when one looks deeper, then we discover that there is a whole world being built behind the scenes, typically what is being built on the layer two of the Blockchain.

One of such products being built on the layer two of Hive is the Hive-Engine, a protocol which allows the tokenization of communities.

What this simply implies is the ability for any community to reward it's participants through its native token and Hive's inherent distribution mechanics. In here lies a world of possibilities. Some communities have started to adopt this technology and have begun to explore these possibilities. As I've always said, a concept could sound very nice and enticing on paper but the problem usually comes when it's time to transform those concepts into a reality.

Hence, this feat has resulted in a lot of communities/projects being abandoned and scrapped, but few projects have been able to stand out to scale by applying different strategies to ensure their long term sustenance and success which will probably be the foundation of many other projects/communities to come, such community spearheading this development in the right direction remains to be the LeoFinance project, a community where people discover and share contents relating to finance and investments and are rewarded in Leo tokens. Over time, we've watched how the Leofinance project have innovatively applied various strategies to keep the project afloat.

The gamification of communities go beyond what we are currently experiencing. Relating this possibilities to a region like Nigeria where majority of people give utmost attention to celebrities and social media influencer's open the doors to an entirely different paradigm. For example, someone like Burna Boy a Nigerian music artist whose recently released album is presently the most streamed album in the world, has the ability to tap into Web 3.0 by creating his community through the layer 2 solution on Hive and create a sustainable economy for his many fans all over the world, where they share musical content and are rewarded in his token.

How about Wizkid, another Nigerian music artist with over 7M followers on Twitter? How about establishing a Wizkid community with a sustainable economy to incentivize his millions of followers? How about the ability for people to invest in the launch of his album and in turn he buys back the tokens off the market with a percentage of the success of the sale of his album? Thereby spreading his wealth across many hands who invested in him... How about other big hit artists and influencers in different niches scattered around the world? It's interesting to think about isn't it?

Many in the world are yet to wake up to the reality of the current situation we are in, many are sleeping on the developments taking place especially in the Tech world, majority of those who claim to be woke are setting their eyes in the wrong direction of quick money making schemes, most are sleeping on Hive and its endless possibilities but as @taskmaster4450 has said in his post, They Can Join Crypto Now Or Join Later But They Will Join, I say they can join Hive now or join later but they will join. Meanwhile in the meantime, I keep growing and the entire ecosystem keeps getting better.

When we look at the current state of the world and how the pandemic is changing the way we live, work and earn a living, it is without doubt that we will be experiencing a major paradigm shift and to be honest I can't help but see Hive at the center of it all, much like Bitcoin back in 2009 and the internet back in 1989.

If you're sleeping or know someone who is, ya'll better wake up...

Thank you for reading.

This is a financial advice, but bear in mind that I'm mostly always high on Hive...I mean...how wouldn't I be? So do your research before making your investment decisions...

May the crypto's be with us.
