My Splinterlands Love Story [ENG-ITA]
My registration to the now late Steem dates back to February 2019 and it took me several weeks to get into the mechanisms of this new world. During this time, I have often read about Splinterlands as a blockchain-based card game.
I don't hide from you that I have never liked card games: Magic, Heartstone, etc have never attracted me, although I have read that there are millions of players in the world and the number is growing more and more with each passing day.
In October 2019, after reading some enthusiastic posts from @mad-runner and @libertycrypto27, I finally decided to buy my kit starter and try this new experience: it was love at first game!
I spent a few days studying the mechanism of the game and asked some guys in the Italian community on Discord for help. As I said a few lines before, I have never played card games and therefore knew nothing at all.
A guide should be made to be placed on the Splinterlands site that explains the game well to newbies like me... I admit that I had some difficulty learning the rules of the game.
However, after a few days of practice and the victory of some significant card like my beloved GOBLIN MECH, I started to climb some positions in the global ranking: first Bronze, then Silver, Gold up to currently reaching Diamante.
The net improvement in my performance came with the purchase of level 3 summoners and the first upgrades of my cards that allowed me to get better and better performances.
In addition, I have known many interesting cards and learned new game strategies thanks to the many contests created by @splinterlands every week, focused on specific cards which, however, required a new game strategy. I also read many reviews from users in the community and saw many of their battles, increasing my knowledge more and more.
By participating in the many contests, you also get excellent rewards in HIVE.
I also received many rewards by actively participating on Twitter and following the profiles of @splinterlands, @splinterlore and @clove71, who daily organize rare, common and DEC card giveaways.
Finally, a service communication for those who are not yet aware of it: from June 1st Splinterlands migrates permanently to HIVE. Goodbye STEEM!

La mia iscrizione all'ormai defunto Steem risale a Febbraio 2019 ed ho impiegato diverse settimane per entrare nei meccanismi di questo nuovo mondo. Durante questo periodo, ho letto spesso di Splinterlands come un gioco di carte basate sulla blockchain.
Io non vi nascondo che i giochi di carte non mi sono mai piaciuti; Magic,Heartstone, etc non mi hanno mai attratto, sebbene ho letto che sono milioni i giocatori del mondo ed il numero si accresce sempre più ogni giorno che passa.
Nel mese di Ottobre 2019, dopo aver letto alcuni post entusiasti di @mad-runner e di @libertycrypto27, ho deciso finalmente di comprare il mio pacco iniziale da 10$ e provare questa nuova esperienza: è stato un colpo di fulmine!
Ho trascorso qualche giorno a studiare il meccanismo del gioco e ho chiesto aiuto ad alcuni ragazzi nella comunità italiana su Discord. Come ho detto qualche riga prima, io non ho mai giocato ai giochi di carte e quindi non conoscevo proprio nulla.
Andrebbe realizzata una guida da disporre sul sito di Splinterlands che spieghi bene il gioco ai neofiti come me... Ammetto che ho avuto qualche difficoltà ad apprendere il regolamento del gioco.
Dopo però alcuni giorni di pratica e la vittoria di qualche carta significativa come il mio tanto amato GOBLIN MECH, ho iniziato a scalare qualche posizione nella classifica globale: prima Bronzo, poi Silver, Gold fino ad arrivare attualmente a Diamante.
Il miglioramento netto delle mie prestazioni è avvenuto con l'acquisto degli evocatori di livello 3 e dei primi potenziamenti delle mie carte che mi hanno permesso di ottenere prestazioni sempre migliori.
Inoltre ho conosciuto molte carte interessanti e imparato nuove strategie di gioco grazie ai tanti contest realizzati da @splinterlands ogni settimana, focalizzati su carte ben precise che hanno richiesto però una strategie nuova di gioco. Ho letto anche tante recensioni degli utenti della comunità e visto tante loro battaglie, accrescendo sempre più le mie conoscenze.
Partecipando ai tanti contest, si ottengono anche ottime ricompense in HIVE.
Ho ricevuto tante ricompense anche partecipando attivamente su Twitter e seguendo i profili di @splinterlands,di @splinterlore e @clove71, che quotidianamente organizzano giveaways di carte rare, comuni e DEC.
Infine, una comunicazione di servizio per chi ancora non ne fosse a conoscenza: dal 01 Giugno Splinterlands migra definitivamente su HIVE. Addio STEEM!
