PayPal not only wants to have a passive role in the introduction of crypto currencies in its payment system but wants to launch an information campaign to all its customers, explaining what a crypto asset is and what the blockchain is. Information is a fundamental tool for mass adoption and if an innovative giant in the financial system like PayPal is convincing customers, then it means that the machine is starting up fast.
Furthermore, PayPal wants to communicate with banks and institutions in order to regulate the sector to protect new customers who decide to start using Bitcoin or altcoin as a payment method or as a tool for exchanging capital all over the world. A revolution announced several times in recent years and perhaps something will really start to move.
Initially, the cryptocurrencies integrated into PayPal will be only 4 but later other crypto assets may be added. Imagine if Hive or Leo or other tokens could be integrated into the financial giant's wallets! La notizia, che in realtà era in parte trapelata già qualche settimana fa, è stata rilasciata in modo ufficiale da Dan Schulman , presidente e CEO di PayPal e potete leggerla qui. Ovviamente è una notizia davvero molto positiva per il mondo crypto perché PayPal è utilizzata da quasi 30 milioni di commercianti e da quasi 300 milioni di utenti. L'integrazione di custodia e trasferimento del denaro non avrà per ora commissioni, così come non saranno addebitate ulteriori commissioni ai commercianti che decideranno di ricevere pagamenti in cryptovalute che potranno convertire immediatamente in Fiat oppure custodirli in crypto nel proprio wallet.
PayPal non vuole solo avere un ruolo passivo nell'introduzione delle valute crypto nel proprio sistema di pagamenti ma vuole avviare una campagna d'informazione a tutti i suoi clienti, spiegando cosa sia un asset crypto e cosa sia la blockchain. L'informazione è uno strumento fondamentale per la mass adoption e se a convincere i clienti vi è un gigante innovatore nel sistema finanziario come PayPal, allora vuol dire che la macchina si sta avviando velocemente.
Inoltre PayPal vuole comunicare con le banche e le istituzioni al fine di regolamentare il settore a tutela dei nuovi clienti che decideranno di iniziare ad utilizzare Bitcoin o altcoin come metodo di pagamento o come strumento per lo scambio di capitale in tutto il mondo.
