Hive, Steem and the Saturday Power Up

* Hello friends, since I started Power Down on Steem, Saturday or Sunday have become even more pleasant days. I convert a cryptocurrency of an now empty container (Steem) into a cryptocurrency of an increasingly full container of freedom, dapps, tools and communities.

By the way, today is a really good day to convert STEEM to HIVE.

Look at the values of today June 27 of the respective cryptocurrencies (by @coingecko): **

The value of 1 STEEM is almost equal to the value of 1 HIVE:

* Incredible isn't it?

Eight months ago and when Steem was full of active users and active communities, STEEM was worth $ 0.13 and now that it is an almost empty container it is worth $ 0.21. It is clear that this value is supported in some way by those who hold most of the STEEM in circulation ...

Power Down on Steem

And here I am at my fourth power down on Steem. The quantity of STEEM that I converted into HIVE is 439.131 STEEM. Screenshot from https://steempeak.com/

I first checked the cost of the conversion operation on Steem Engine and Hive Engine. * I checked this option because on three occasions I made a small profit using Steem Engine or Hive Engine. But today the costs are too high and therefore I immediately discarded this option.

I could use one of the exchanges to which I am registered as Binance but I preferred to use the functionality made available by @swap.app and integrated in SteemPeak for speed and also because they are both "**Hive-oriented" actors.

How will I use these HIVE?

From the conversion operation I obtained 419.597 HIVE.

I was also lucky because when I converted my STEEM the value of 1 STEEM went up and reached $ 0.216**

The commission that withholds @swap.app is around 0.7%

If you want to use this conversion method too, you can read the small guide I wrote in recent days: **

Power Up on Hive

100 HIVE will increase my HP. I set myself the goal of reaching 10000 HP by the end of February 2021 and this is my main goal. With an increasing HP I will be able to better support the authors that I follow on Hive and above all I will be able to support new users who appear for the first time on Hive.

Splinterlands

I am convinced that games can be an excellent springboard to spread the principle of decentralization among people who still do not know the wonderful world of blockchains.

I will use 200 HIVE to upgrade my Splinterlands card collection

As I wrote in yesterday's post (link), Splinterlands is my first decentralized game and now there are many convenient offers on the market because some players with great value collections have put some cards up for sale at prices that are really advantageous especially for Summoner cards. **

dCity

*

For about a week now I have become a dCity player. What you see in the image above is my small virtual city. It is a fun game and I have also written a tutorial for this game ()

I decided to invest a total of 500 HIVE on dCity and to complete my investment program the power down on Steem comes at the right time.

I am still evaluating the game and all its aspects. For example, I have put some cards up for sale to see how long it takes to sell a particular card.

n the next few days I will write an evaluation post on dCity as I have been doing for Splinterlands for some time now. So I will evaluate dCity not from the point of view of the game but exclusively from the economic point of view. **

Conclusion

* Well, friends today I wanted to share with you the Power Down on Steem and my choices on how to use the HIVEs obtained from the conversion process.

I wish everyone a wonderful weekend.

* Incredibile vero?

Power Down su Steem

**

Come utilizzerò questi HIVE?

Power Up su Hive
