Hello friends, little more than 7 months have passed (precisely 7 months and 3 days) since I joined the beautiful Splinterlands game.
Every month I do some calculations and write a report to evaluate Splinterlands not as a game but as an investment.

* For the evaluation I will start from the result of the previous report.
In the first six months, I made a profit of **$ 27,992 and a ROI of 34.73%.
I am convinced that Splinterlands still has great margins of growth and for this reason also in the following thirty days (23 April - 22 May) I continued to buy cards to improve my card collection.
Purchases

I spent most of the budget available on summoner cards.
In the following table you can see all the cards that I purchased in the period from April 23 to May 22.

I spent a total of $ 26.32 (= 129.670 STEEM = 89.840 HIVE).

Internal market vs PeakMonsters
If you are not in a hurry to buy cards I recommend using the PeakMonsters market.
* In the Splinterlands internal market you can buy a card at the best price the moment you look at the market.
In the PeakMonsters market you can make offers below the market price (BID) and therefore you can get much more advantageous prices.
For example, consider the Alric Stormbringer (Level 1) card. Today May 22nd the lowest price on the market is 2.71 $.
Thanks to the purchase offers I placed on the PeakMonsters market I purchased *4 Alric Stormbringer (Level 1) spending as an average cost for each card only $ 1,145.

Sales
This month I decided to sell a card for the first time. I sold Dwarven Wizard (Gold) for the price of $ 23 and received 33896.991 DEC as payment. Thanks to this sale, the difference between purchases and sales is really small: $ 3.26**.

Evaluating Splinterlands as an investment

To evaluate an investment, you need to compare costs and revenues.

Total Investment Cost
The total cost of my investment on Splinterlands to date is given by the following sum:
**Registration Cost (Starter Set) + Cost of Purchased Cards

30 days ago the total cost was 80.59 $.
If at *$ 80.59 I add $ 26.32 I get the total cost that I have incurred to date .: $ 106.91.

The total cost is 106.91 $ = 494.417 STEEM = 198.998 HIVE

Now that I have calculated the total cost, I just have to calculate the revenues.
Revenues
On Splinterlands, revenues correspond to Cards and DEC (Dark Energy Crystal) tokens.

How much is my card collection worth?
To calculate the dollar value of my cards, I use the Peakmonsters website which greatly facilitates and speeds up the calculation. To calculate the value of my collection of cards I chose to take into consideration the average value** obtained by the following formula:

The average value is $ 165,135
How much are my DECs worth?
For each battle won, a certain amount of DEC is received as a reward. Thanks to the battles won and the sale of Dwarven Wizard (Gold) I have on my wallet a total of DEC of 37962.

To calculate the dollar value I must first compare the DEC value on Steem Engine and Hive Engine.
In fact now it is possible to buy and sell DEC also on *Hive Engine.
From the comparison I take into consideration the highest value which is 24.1 $ and is obtained using Steem Engine.
The value of my DEC is therefore 24.1 $.

My profit is $ 82,346

In just over seven months, I made a profit of $ 82.346**.
The ROI obtained is 77.02%.
Profit and ROI have grown a lot compared to the previous month. **
- ROI after 6 months: 34.73%
- ROI after 7 months: 77.02%
- PROFIT after 6 months: $ 27,992
- PROFIT after 7 months: $ 82,346 *
By continuing to upgrade the cards my rating will go up and I will earn more DEC and more rewards.
Profit is expected to increase month after month.

Champions League III: Finally I entered the Diamond I league and this month I raise the target even if it won't be easy to reach it.
Strategies: I will reinvest 100% of the DEC that I earn from battles into cards. I will reinvest 100% of the earnings of the posts on Steem in the purchase of cards.
Upgrade: I will continue to buy summoners at discount prices.
Report: Every month I will write a post to evaluate Splinterlands not as a game but as an investment and I will calculate the ROI.

Nel mercato di PeakMonsters puoi fare delle offerte inferiori al prezzo di mercato (BID) e quindi puoi ottenere prezzi molto più vantaggiosi.
Prediamo ad esempio Alric Stormbringer (Livello 1). Oggi 22 Maggio il prezzo più basso sul mercato è di 2.71 $.
Grazie alle offerte di acquisto che ho piazzato sul mercato di PeakMonsters ho acquistato *4 Alric Stormbringer (Livello 1) spendendo come costo medio per ogni singola carta solo 1.145 $.

Per calcolare il valore in dollari delle mie carte utilizzo il sito Peakmonsters che facilita e velocizza di molto il calcolo. Per calcolare il valore della mia collezione di carte prendo in considerazione il valore medio** ottenuto dalla seguente formula:

Il valore medio è di 165.135 $**

Quanto valgono i miei DEC?
Per ogni battaglia vinta si riceve come ricompensa un certo quantitativo di DEC. Grazie alle battaglie vinte e alla vendita di Dwarven Wizard (Gold) ho sul mio wallet un totale di DEC di 37962. *
Per calcolare il valore in dollari devo prima confrontare il valore dei DEC su Steem Engine ed Hive Engine.
Infatti da poco più di un mese è possibile comprare e vendere i DEC anche su *Hive Engine.
Dal confronto prendo in considerazione il valore più alto che è di 24.1 $ ed è ottenuto utilizzando Steem Engine.
Il valore dei miei DEC è quindi di 24.1 $.

Continuando a potenziare le carte il mio rating salirà e guadagnerò più DEC e più ricompense.
Il profitto dovrebbe incrementare mese dopo mese.

Da quando è nato Hive il supporto del grande team di Splinterlands è anche raddoppiato.
Per ogni post di partecipazione al contest settimanale di Splinterlands ho ricevuto un upvote doppio da parte dell'account di @steemmonsters: uno su Hive e uno su Steem. * Ovviamente la mia casa social è solo Hive e il mio post sarà sempre pubblicato prima su Hive.
Se sei iscritto a Splinterlands e non partecipi ai contest settimanali stai perdendo un'occasione per guadagnare e divertirti allo stesso tempo.
Se non sei iscritto a Splinterlands prendi in seria considerazione di effettuare l'iscrizione.

Obiettivi e Strategie

Gli obiettivi e le strategie per il mese successivo sono:
Champions League III: Finalmente sono entrato nella lega Diamond I e questo mese alzo l'obbiettivo anche se non sarà facile raggiungerlo.
Strategie: Reinvestirò in carte il 100% dei DEC che guadagnerò dalle battaglie. Il 100% dei guadagni dei miei post su Steem li reinvestirò in carte.
Upgrade: Continuerò a comprare evocatori a prezzi convenienti.
**Resoconto: Ogni mese scriverò un post per valutare Splinterlands non come un gioco ma come un investimento e calcolerò il ROI.
