Road to 10000 HP: report of July

* Hello, friends, after my first anniversary on Hive I decided to write a monthly report on my activity on Hive. I also set myself a goal in terms of HP (Hive Power) to reach in my second year on what is now the blockchain I love.

Why set yourself a goal?

**Planning and setting goals is the first step to achieving them.

Main goal

My main objective is as follows:

10000 HP by February 28, 2021.

Secondary Objectives

In March 2020, I also set myself secondary objectives.

Secondary goals:

• To achieve a **reputation of at least 72
• Publish at least 600 posts 900 posts
• Playing in the Champions League of Splinterlands** (goal achieved)

The goal related to the game of Splinterlands has been achieved for some time now while the other two goals are still to be achieved.

State of advancement

I'm starting from secondary objectives.

**

Objective: Reputation of 72

* Reputation is one of the most interesting and most liked mechanisms of Hive. It gives a concise and immediate idea of the activity of each account.

I have never used Bid-Bot and therefore my reputation is the only and exclusive result of my blog activity on Hive.

On July 1st I had a reputation of 69.31 On August 3rd my reputation is 69,775

My reputation has increased in a month by 0.47 points.

** According to the information on the site: https://hivebuzz.me/ranking my reputation score puts me in position 1319 among Hive users.

Last month I was in position 1432 and so I advanced in the ranking by 113 positions.

How does the Reputation mechanism work?

* The reputation mechanism is based on a calculation using a logarithmic function based on 10 and therefore it will be increasingly difficult to increase it.

Precisely because of the type of mechanism that governs this indicator I am satisfied with the monthly result obtained as the increase was slightly lower than the previous month (+0.47 instead of +0.55).

There are 7 months left until February 28, 2021 and to reach a reputation of 72 I would have to increase my reputation by at least 0.31 per month.

The reputation goal is the most difficult one to reach and it won't be easy to achieve because it assumes that I can devote the same amount of time to Hive in the previous months but I don't know if in the future I will be able to devote the same amount of time...

Publish at least 600 post 900 post

By March 2020 I had set myself the goal of publishing 600 posts. Last month I reached this goal and so I decided to set myself a new goal:

• to publish a total of 900 posts by February 28, 2021. So far, I have published 627 posts** so far:

To reach my goal I still have to publish 273 posts (39 posts per month).

But now back to my main goal.

Objective: 10000 HP

My Wallet

On July 1st on my Wallet I had a value of 5542.77 Hive** (HIVE+HP+HBD).

On August 3rd my Wallet contains: *6222,041 HP , 14,049 HDB and 30,930 HIVE.

To calculate the total Hive value of my wallet I need to convert HDB to HIVE.

**14,049 HDB, based on today's exchange rate, is equivalent to 48,455 HIVE.

If you add up all the data, the total value of my portfolio is 6301,426 HIVE.

** The total of HIVE (HP+HDB+HIVE) earned in a month is 758.66.

I created a table to monitor the path to the target I set myself. My run is going well, I have exceeded the July monthly target of 388.8 HIVE and for this reason the amount of HIVE I have to accumulate in August drops to 369.86 HIVE.

In the August result there are also 100 HIVE obtained thanks to the Power Down of my STEEMs converted to HIVE**.

I have very few STEEM left and I should complete my PowerDown on Steem this month. **

July: a particular month

I am satisfied with the month that has just passed because it was a month in which the time I was able to devote to Hive has been greatly reduced compared to previous months. The work now takes up most of my time. I really like writing on Hive and after the pleasant time I dedicate to my family and my affections it is the activity that gives me the most fun. *

My intentions for the month of August

My intentions for August are practically the same as for July.

• I will continue on my way with the goal of increasing my HP. Unfortunately I will have less and less time for work commitments and work to recover but I will always try to improve and above all I will try to help with upvote and comments my favorite authors with an eye to new users who will look at the beautiful world of Hive.
• I will continue to promote Hive, trying to enroll friends and relatives. The last users I brought on Hive are:

  • @zottone444 He's my nephew, I love him a world of good, he's a very smart and very sensitive guy, he's a video game enthusiast and, even if he stopped publishing because he's in vacation, I hope he can continue to publish and have fun on Hive.

  • @arbace: He's a dear friend that I met in a working environment. He has many passions and is a person who has a lot to say and write. He loves to write and for this reason I see him very suitable for Hive. When I told him about Hive he immediately showed interest in this world unknown to him and I hope he will continue his decentralized adventure.

L'obbiettivo inerente al gioco di Splinterlands è ormai raggiunto da tempo mentre gli altri due obbiettivi sono ancora da raggiungere.

* La reputazione è uno dei meccanismi più interessanti e che più mi piace di Hive. Dà un idea sintetica e immediata dell'attività di ogni account.

Il 1 Luglio avevo una reputazione di 69.31 In data 3 Agosto la mia reputazione è di 69.775

La mia reputazione è aumentata in un mese di 0.47 punti.

Il mese scorso ero in posizione 1432 e quindi ho fatto un salto di ben 113 posizioni.

Come funziona il meccanismo della Reputazione?

* Il meccanismo della reputazione si basa su un calcolo che utilizza una funzione logaritmica in base 10 e quindi sarà sempre più difficile aumentarla.

Proprio per il tipo di meccanismo che governa questo indicatore sono soddisfatto del risultato mensile ottenuto poichè l'incremento è stato leggermente inferiore al mese precedente (+0.47 invece di +0.55).

Mancano 7 mesi al 28 Febbraio 2021 e per raggiungere una reputazione di 72 dovrei aumentare la mia reputazione di un valore di almeno 0.31 al mese.

L'obbiettivo relativo alla reputazione è il più difficile da raggiungere e non sarà per niente facile conseguirlo perchè presuppone che io possa dedicare lo stesso tempo che ho dedicato ad Hive nei mesi precedenti ma non so se in futuro riuscirò a dedicare lo stesso quantitativo di tempo...

Pubblicare almeno 600 post 900 post

A Marzo 2020 mi ero posto l'obbiettivo di pubblicare 600 post. Nel mese scorso ho raggiunto questo obbiettivo e quindi ho deciso di pormi un nuovo obbiettivo:

• pubblicare un totale di 900 post** entro il 28 Febbraio 2021.

Fino ad oggi ho pubblicato 627 post e quindi:

Per raggiungere il mio obbiettivo devo pubblicare ancora 273 post ( 39 post al mese).

Ma adesso ritorniamo al mio obbiettivo principale.

Il mio Wallet

Il 1 Luglio sul mio Wallet avevo un valore di 5542.77 Hive** (HIVE+HP+HBD).

In data 3 Agosto il mio Wallet contiene: *6222.041 HP , 14.049 HDB e 30.930 HIVE.

Per calcolare il totale del valore in Hive del mio wallet devo convertire gli HDB in HIVE.

**14.049 HDB, in base al cambio odierno, equivalgono a 48.455 HIVE

Sommando tutti i dati, il valore totale del mio portafoglio è di 6301.426 HIVE

** Il totale degli HIVE (HP+HDB+HIVE) guadagnati in un mese è di 758.7

Ho creato una tabella per monitorare il percorso verso l'obiettivo prefissato. *

** La mia corsa procede bene, ho superato l'obbiettivo mensile di Luglio di 388.8 HIVE e per questo motivo il quantitativo di HIVE che devo accumulare nel mese di Agosto scende a 369.86 HIVE.

Nel risultato del mese di agosto ci sono anche 100 HIVE ottenuti grazie al Power Down dei miei STEEM convertiti in HIVE**.

Mi rimangono davvero pochi STEEM e in questo mese dovrei completare il mio PowerDown su Steem. **

Luglio: un mese particolare

Sono soddisfatto del mese appena trascorso perchè è stato un mese in cui il tempo che ho potuto dedicare ad Hive si è ridotto notevolmente rispetto ai mesi precedenti. Il lavoro assorbe ormai la maggior parte del mio tempo. Scrivere su Hive mi piace molto e dopo la famiglia e i miei affetti è l'attività che mi dà divertimento e soddisfazione personale. *

Propositi per il mese di Agosto

** I propositi per il mese di Agosto sono praticamente gli stessi del mese di Luglio.

• Continuerò il mio cammino con l'obbiettivo di aumentare il mio HP. Avrò purtroppo sempre meno tempo per impegni lavorativi e lavoro da recuperare ma cercherò sempre di migliorare e soprattutto cercherò di aiutare con upvote e commenti i miei autori preferiti con un occhio di riguardo ai nuovi utenti che si affacceranno sul bellissimo mondo di Hive.
• Cercherò di proumuovere Hive** cercando di far iscrivere amici e parenti. Gli ultimi utenti che ho portato su Hive sono:

  • @zottone444 E' mio nipote, gli voglio un mondo di bene, è un ragazzo molto intelligente e molto sensibile, è un appassionato di videogiochi e, anche se ha interrotto le sue pubblicazioni perchè è al mare, spero che potrà continuare a pubblicare e a divertirsi su Hive.

  • @arbace: E' un caro amico che ho conosciuto in ambiente lavorativo. Ha tante passioni ed è una persona che ha tanto da dire e da scrivere. Ama scrivere e per questo motivo lo vedo molto adatto ad Hive. Quando gli ho parlato di Hive ha subito mostrato interesse per questo mondo a lui sconosciuto e spero che continui la sua avventura decentralizzata.
