Carlo

Hello everybody,

today I would like the numbers to speak because for those who can read their meaning, interesting scenarios for Hive would open.

The database that I will analyze is that of the Bittrex exchange and the reason is simple: the volumes are high and the data very reliable.

Furthermore, he was one of the few exchanges among the main ones not to take sides with Justin Sun in that regrettable attempt to overthrow the Witnesses' order of consent in favor of JS's puppet witnesses.

The data will include a comparison between Hive and Steem that will allow me to express my point of view on the market of the two tokens and consequently on the two blockchains.

Starting from this data, it is possible to notice how the volume of transactions in 24H is decidedly favorable to Hive; while the latter totaled a volume of almost 13 BTC, Steem barely exceeds 7 BTC. We are talking about an almost double volume for Hive and the gap is growing day by day.

Unfortunately I have no data to support what I say because in recent days I have not made screenshots, but believe me if I tell you that this gap is growing over the days, obviously in favor of Hive.

If we add this fact to the fact that Hive is recovering from last week's dump while Steem is steadily falling, it is easy to assume that Hive is attracting more interest in the cryptocurrency landscape and that the community, split after the Hard Fork from which it was born Hive chose which side to stay on (Hive, of course).

In short, my perception is that Steem is becoming poorer (of users, of Dapps) while Hive has embarked on a strong growth trend.

Here the data becomes even more interesting.

In fact, taking into consideration the aggregation of pending orders for purchase and sale for the two tokens, a diametrically opposite situation can also be seen in the numbers.

The total of the purchase orders for Hive amounts to over 35 BTC while the total of the sales orders reports a total of just over 10 BTC; this figure shows a greater demand for the token and an imbalance between those who want to buy and those who want to sell in favor of the first category. Put simply, there are more purchase orders than sales orders.

Steem's situation, as I previously announced, is the opposite and has a total of purchase orders of just over 10 BTC and a total of sales orders of over 37 BTC. As we can see the values are many similar to those of Hive but with inverted parts: there are many more sales orders than those of purchase.

Certainly no words are needed to understand the meaning of this data: Hive is more requested than sold, the opposite situation for Steem.

My feeling is that people want to get rid of their Steems to reinvest them in Hive; also those who wanted to develop something on blockchain (games, Dapps etc.) are shifting their attention towards Hive.

All this produces greater pressure to buy on Hive and greater pressure to sell on Steem.

..and let's face it: if there were no pressures resulting from the manipulation of the market of the two Tokens (we know well by whom), Hive would still maintain a market price higher than Steem and the latter would have suffered repeated dumps that would have brought the price at least half the current one .. and good for us that this has not yet happened because it allows us to sell our steems at a reasonable price.

But one very important thing must be taken into account: despite everything, the price difference between Steem and Hive is getting thinner and I am convinced that in about ten weeks (after the powerdown is over) we will see many other quotes.

For the rest, I have brought you these two data that in my opinion open the way for a series of evaluations .. so meditate people!
