*SALITA / DISCESA / HALVING / LATERALE / RISALITA

Carlo.

Hello everybody,

the price of Bitcoin is falling dramatically and while everyone was intent on buying with star quotes in mind thanks to the Halving scheduled for tomorrow, today's awakening must have been really brutal, looking at quotes almost $2000 lower than yesterday.

A deep drop in quotations that as far as I'm concerned might not even have found the bottom! In fact, I am convinced that the price of bitcoin has room to fall further.

But the question that many people are asking is only one: *was this price drop foreseeable, right now?

My straight answer is *YES!

In the past few days I warned some friends who had contacted me privately in Discord to ask me what I thought about the rise in bitcoin prices in recent weeks and, perhaps freezing some of them, I replied that I had sold all my stocks of BTC a few days ago because I expected a drastic drop in prices and because in my opinion we had already reached the maximum pre-halving.

Here's the proof of what I'm saying:

As you can see from the image of my operation on Bitvavo, two days ago I sold all my BTCs at a price of about $10,000.00 (€ 9,246 since Bitvavo works only for European citizens and in fiat EURO currency), which if you go and see are practically the highs of this period.

*I'm a magician? I wouldn't say so.

I simply looked at the graph and did my technical analysis, also and above all considering the upcoming BTC Halving. While everyone was buying thinking that the quotes would reach stellar values before this, I was trying to figure out when to go out and definitely do it before the halving.

It would have been enough to see the behavior of the quotes before each halving to know how to move.

In fact a few weeks before each halving of BTC miners' rewards, the quotes suddenly rise because of the hype around the news, because nobody wants to stay out of the possible rally of quotes. Immediately after this phase, usually a few days before the halving, the quotes drop, even significantly, going to score very low levels compared to the previous phase and the more the price falls, the more people sell out in panic: the classic panic sell.*

In my opinion now we are in this phase and the best thing to do would be to stay out of it or place pending orders (which I did) at predefined levels. To do this you need to know when to enter and therefore it becomes essential to know the technical analysis to identify the key levels that the quotes could touch.

I'm talking about entry levels because I'm convinced that the decline phase will be only momentary and after that we'll see a substantial rise even beyond the highs of February, towards the historical high recorded at about $20 K. For this reason I've planned at least 4 inputs in which I will divide my total stake to invest.

Obviously the downhill phase could last weeks and then we could see a laterality phase; *of course it's that the highs are not expected soon and that it will take months to see a new BTC bull run.

That's why I prefer to wait for much lower levels than the current one to come in, because *I think it's better a loss than a loss. Entering now is very risky because you risk buying at too high a level and then having to wait months to recover your investment or accept a heavy loss.

These are just my considerations and *not a solicitation to invest in BTC; on the other hand I prefer to have clear ideas before investing and my feeling is that even in this circumstance the script will repeat itself:

**ASCENDING / DESCENDING / HALVING / LATERAL / ASCENDING*.

I will miss an opportunity to enter at these prices and I will reassess the situation in a few weeks to find new entry levels.

In the field of investments you must never be in a hurry to get in and above all you must have clear ideas; only in this way you are guaranteed the possibility of earning money but above all not to throw money away!

Carlo
