oggi vorrei focalizzarmi su una delle notizie più importanti degli ultimi tempi per la nostra blockchain.
Infatti con questo post *Important Splinterlands Update il team di Splinterland annuncia il passaggio dell'applicazione sulla blockchain di Hive.
E' una notizia incredibilmente importante per Hive in quanto se andiamo a dare uno sguardo alla classifica delle applicazioni che girano su Blockchain, Splinterlands occupa il primo posto come riportato da **State of the DApps*, da cui riprendo questo screen shot:
Il passaggio avverrà il giorno 1/6/2020 e la motivazione che ha spinto a compiere il passaggio è forse la cosa più importante.
Infatti si è deciso di spostare Splinterlands sulla blockchain di Hive per garantire una maggiore stabilità all'applicazione e questo in parte è anche dovuto alle mosse di Sun/Steemit Inc che hanno implementato un Hard Fork, il famoso HF23, con un preavviso di un solo giorno, mettendo a repentaglio il funzionamento del gioco nel caso ci fossero stati problemi susseguenti alla frettolosa e inaspettata biforcazione, della quale lo staff di Splinterlands non conosceva il contenuto e il codice.
In ogni caso il passaggio era stato già deciso prima dell'HF23 di Steem e quest'ultimo ne ha solo accelerato il processo, in quanto dall'acquisizione di Steemit Inc da parte di Sun e dalla sua presa ostile della blockchain, la situazione di quest'ultima era di estrema incertezza con i witnesses incapaci di garantire la dovuta stabilità ai nodi; questo ovviamente si poteva ripercuotere anche sull'applicazione restituendo un esperienza di gioco non proprio esaltante.
Quindi anche grazie a questa mossa si sancisce una cosa importantissima e cioè che *Hive è più stabile e più sicura in prospettiva futura rispetto a Steem.
Tutto il discorso che si era fatto sull'ipotetica volontà di Sun di sovvenzionare i creatori di Dapps per farli rimanere in Steem e successivamente farli assorbire da Tron con un token swap, è andato a farsi benedire con questo durissimo colpo assestato da Splinterlands, che ha sottolineato con la sua mossa che la vera stabilità per implementare delle Dapps è in Hive.
E Splinterlands non è un caso isolato perchè *Steem 2 Hive ci fornisce un'altra importante informazione:
ben l'82% delle DApps presenti in Steem prima dell'HF da cui è nato Hive, si sono trasferite nella nostra blockchain ma non solo...
Infatti tra le prime 20 DApps presenti nel ranking delle applicazioni decentralizzate troviamo solo 2 DApps di Steem e ben 5 DApps di Hive, di cui 3 nella prime 10 e addirittura 2 tra le prime 3!! Potete dare un'occhiata di persona a questo link: State od the DApps - Ranking.
Insomma, in ottica futura Hive risulta la blockchain più apprezzata per sviluppare delle DApps per una svariata serie di motivazioni, tra cui la velocità e la stabilità rispetto alle altre. Ma non va neanche dimenticato un altro aspetto importante che è rappresentato dall'economicità di Hive che può rappresentare un altro punto a favore per gli sviluppatori.
Tornando a Splinterlands è importante sottolineare come *Steem e SBD non saranno più accettati dalla loro piattaforma per acquistare le carte gioco e questo rappresenterà un ulteriore problema per la liquidità di Steem, che già prima di questa mossa di Splinterlands era un problema a causa degli scarsi volumi.
Sebbene il team di Splinterlands abbia specificato che questo spostamento non rappresenti uno schierarsi dalla parte di Hive nella diatriba con Steem, il solo fatto di aver scelto di passare ad Hive considerandola più adatta allo svolgimento del gioco, rappresenta una presa di posizione.. almeno a mio modo di vedere la cosa.

Tradotto dovrebbe significare quello che ho appena detto, cioè che in prospettiva la blockchain di Hive può assicurare maggiore stabilità al gioco sia dal punto di vista dei nodi, sia da quello della decentralizzazione che degli sviluppi futuri... e quindi risulta la scelta migliore per Splinterlands.
Una grande vittoria per Hive, una blockchain che è giovane se consideriamo che vive da soli 2 mesi ma che sta facendo passi da gigante nella direzione giusta, concentrandosi sullo sviluppo e sulla concretezza.
A breve Hive sarà di fronte al suo Hard Fork, il numero 24, che si propone di apportare altre migliorie al lavoro già fatto.

Returning to Splinterlands it is important to point out that *Steem and SBD will no longer be accepted by their platform to buy playing cards and this will be a further problem for Steem's liquidity, which even before this move by Splinterlands was a problem due to low volumes.
Although the Splinterlands team has specified that this move does not represent a side move on Hive's side in the dispute with Steem, the mere fact that they have chosen to switch to Hive as the best way to play the game is a stance... at least in my opinion.
