The feeling at the end of the pilot's vision is that the product is well packaged and can carve out a respectable space in the contemporary serial scene. However, there doesn't seem to be the right conditions to enclose the TV series in the circle of those products that could make history or upset the panorama itself. For comparison, Locke & Key is to Netflix as His Dark Materials is to HBO. A great product, well done, but without the extra quid that a demanding audience might require.
