If they gave out awards for the best start to a month, May would be the hands down winner so far this year. This past weekend was absolutely beautiful.

If Friday had been a typical day I would have been stuck in my office looking out the window thinking about all of the things I could be doing around the house or in my yard.

Thanks to Covid and the current "stay at home" order there Michigan is under, I was able to do all of that.

I am not going to dig into Friday too much because I already posted about it here. As I said in the opening, the rest of the weekend continued to amaze. In fact, we were sitting comfortably in the seventy degree range yesterday for the better part of the day.

On one of the very long walks that my wife and I took each day I was talking to @mrsbozz about what I have been doing with the Steem that I am powering down. When the prices of Hive and Steem were closer together it was a no-brainer for me to swap from one currency to the other.

Now that the prices have moved away from each other (especially last week), it isn't as advantageous to make that conversion. I understand a lot of people still are, and I applaud them for that. At this point I have decided to diversify my holdings and take advantage of the price difference between STEEM and WAX.

Based off the fundamentals of EOS, WAX has made some notable changes and have recently seen an increase in users and projects trying to move away from the recent congestion issues that EOS has been seeing.

In addition to that, WAX has recently teamed up with TOPPS to start offering some NFT's in the form of trading cards.

I think the potential is there for some significant growth in the price of that token. On top of that WAX offers staking rewards and the current price of the token is right around $.03 or $.04. That means I can pick up 1000+ WAX tokens for the 200 or so STEEM I get as part of my powerdown each week.

With the beautiful days and evenings that we have been having, it is (almost) easy to forget about all of the crazy stuff that is going on in the world these days. It makes me feel a little better to know that as the team leader of the @eos.detroit Boid team we are doing our part behind the scenes to combat the Corona virus.

This is just a reminder that season 4 is dedicated to Covid-19 research. Even though the season has started, it isn't too late for you to join EOS Detroit with your spare computing resources to help towards Covid research.

Finally, I wanted to take a moment to highlight a user that I have been following for quite a while on Steem/Hive. If you haven't already, you should really check out @rok-sivante. Looking for an interesting perspective on the ups and downs of being in the crypto-world? He has it. Want to listen to some sick remixes from a world class DJ? He's got all of that too.

Looking for a deep dive into conspiracy theories? Check! Want to learn some more about human design? Check and check. If you are looking for some quality thought provoking content, I really encourage you to check out @rok-sivante. Even if you aren't fully on board with everything he posts, it is still well worth reading and he will always respond to well written comments with engaging and informative discussion.

It's really some must-read stuff.
