Local Traditional Food in Bireuen Town Market
I was going to the market this morning. I visited Bireuen Fish Market to buy some fishes, chicken, and some vegetable. However, before heading for home, I tried some traditional food there.
I visited a shop near parking area. The simple traditional shop offers some local food, like Lupis (such a cake made of rice, poured with liquid palm sugar).
I ordered one portion of Lupis. There are six pieces lupis of a portion. The cakes are delicious and sweet. I love eating the cake. It’s one of my favorite.
I also ordered a plate of “mie pecal”. It is noodle with crunched vegetables which is poured with peanuts. It’s a special traditional cuisine.
It’s a good way to support traditional cuisine sellers by eating them in traditional market. We also support their cash flow.
Thanks for reading.
