Time has come for departure.....Are you ready ?
There is a peak time in Life..And if the peak is unfinished..
I am not able to overcome and get out of the shock that came from the sad demise of one my favorite actor - Irrfan Khan. He is one of the actor who has inspired me a lot because he was always living in reality. Being a public figure, he knew that anything he speaks is going to be interpreted by many in many ways - but that did not stop him what he wanted to do - engage in free speech.
Being a Muslim he publicly asked the Muslims to Fight Against Terror and even defended it openly. Not because he wanted some publicity out of it, but because he just wanted to express what he felt - the feeling of free speech. You can see the complete debate here :

He did not want to promote anything, he just expressed his free speech - his feelings. And his words aligns with what humanity should be practicing. Be it any religion, the thoughts apply to all.
He was probably the first high profile actor who openly declared about his disease - very few can dare to do that. There are many high profile people who are suffering from Cancer but they never disclose it. But Irrfan wanted to live in reality.
If you see the above interview, then you can feel he never believed in pride. Any sort of pride takes you a step back. He stopped telling his kids for that reason - I am proud of you. This was the sentiment of a man who did not have money to buy a ticket to watch Jurassic Park and who made it to the last part of Jurassic Park as an actor.
He was an institution of acting rather being an actor. He was one of the very few who always portrayed real life stories on screen - the most difficult job. And it was his simplicity that made all the trick. It's simple to be happy, but its very difficult to be simple. But Irrfan had practiced the simplicity in reality.
For last few years, he had been rising in his career - almost every movie being big hits. But then he revealed having these unwanted guests (Cancer) as part of life - imagine how much courage a person would need to confess this publicly , live with it, and still doing his work. That was Irrfan - a true legend of inspiration.
The entire world is giving condolences to the family - but the family is strong enough to admit that he taught them to move on from here - He knew that the peak is going to be unfinished and time was coming for departure. Was it because he was more close to God - He already did his self introspection and had the final result in his mind that would give him enough courage and peace to go through this ?
