Hi to everyone in the community and a big, fat welcome to those just joining us for the first time.

So nice to have you here! 😀

So letting the sunshine in with this photo that I took a couple of years ago at #floriadetulipfestival in #canberra, just like this field of sensational sunny yellow Tulip and Pansies, I'd like to share with you a couple of posts that let the sunshine into the Hive in 2 completely different ways.

So from some people that I have been lucky enough to discover as each one is some great information for us newbies and both have some great discussions in the threads, so please if you can find the time, read @tobetada and his very informative and thought provoking post here, asking the question- How bad is "bad curation"?, and the way that he has prefaced that question with a detailed explanation of the voting process, I (think) I finally understand it (I Hope)! And you can read that here

And then here's another great initiative from @livinguktaiwan about opening up Hive to new people and how to do it. From a personal perspective though, I think some things are going to have to be simplified and streamlined first before we expect new users to get onboard, suffer from the same frustrations that I have for too long and then get the shits with it and say *stuff it, it's too confusing, I'm done.
