A New Journey Begins: Hive

This is my first post on the fresh out of the oven, Hive blockchain! Hello my fellow Hivers(let's go with that, because I don't want to be a bee). Well we're only a few hours in, and all in all, I'd say that was a pretty smooth HF. Of course there are some things broken here and there, but the fact that I'm posting this on PeakD and it's all working and votes are going through is a great start and I'm impressed.

Looks like I've got a lot of art to make to bring Hive up to speed with Steem in the fan art category so might as well get started.

I'd been thinking about how I wanted to showcase this new system, so I tried to integrate something organic and alive along with some technical strength and structure, and of course, Hexagons. Lots of Hexagons. There's actually a random pentagon in there too, but let's ignore that.

I'm really excited to continue our journey together Hivers. We've been through a lot together and it's been rough getting here, but I think we're going to come out of this stronger than ever. We no longer have that monster in the basement that we all feared would attack us one day. It's finally been slain and now we can move forward with our heads held high and when we say Hive is a decentralized blockchain we won't have to put a little asterisk next to that statement for that ninja mined stake. Let's all work together to make Hive the force we've always known could change the world. We've already made history here in the crypto world. Now the real journey begins.
