Each one of us here on Steem tend to have our feet in multiple community ponds so some of my followers may not know that the game just changed. Just like that. The diligent folks over at SteemLeo have done it again. Blazing the trail and being an example of what a tribe COULD be. Products and services like they've created and offered are why I(and probably most of us) were incredibly excited when Tribes were launched. Since then, I'd be lying if I said I wasn't disappointed with where things are now with most Tribes, but...

Then there was Leo.

So if you haven't heard or seen yet, SteemLeo has just launched a digital product marketplace Steemleo Shop much like I JUST suggested a few posts ago. Great minds think alike I suppose ๐Ÿ˜Ž

So all you artists out there, it's time to package something up and sell it. Got a useful 3D model, some custom Photoshop Brushes, a video tutorial, a pdf tutorial, a digital comic, some reference photography, some custom textures, an illustration, a wallpaper, etc?

Do you want to offer a service like making a custom thumbnail for posts, or painting a portrait, or designing a logo, or creating custom avatars, or designing UI for an app, or whatever the hell you want?

Guess what? You can now, and it's easy as hell. There are kinks to be worked out, there are next steps, but this is a HUGE step in the right direction and if you like this sort of innovation, the best thing you can do is participate. Buy some shit, sell some shit, use it! Create some positive reinforcement for the developers that are kicking ass when the easy thing to do is sit on your ass right now and wait for the next bull market. Some people are grinding in the trenches and I think it's fucking awesome.

So I'm currently thinking of all the stuff I'm going to sell, while considering who's here right now. My first thing honestly was more just testing the system out, but if you have any 3D experience at all, by all means, check it out and make some Steem Art.

My first product is a 3D model of the Steem token. The model is UV'd and ready to go, you only need to apply the textures in your app of choice. It includes the Color, Roughness, Normal, Displacement and Ambient Occlusion. Here's some of the art I've made with it.

There were a few more, but I'm tired of digging through old folders, you get the idea.

Don't have a clue about 3D. Do a google search for "Blender 3D", it's a free open source, super powerful 3D application. Watch a few hours of tutorials, and you'll be doing Steem Art in no time.

I'm looking forward to seeing SteemLeo Shop continue to develop and grow, as well as what cool stuff the community has to offer to sell. What do you have to lose? Try it. Sell something. Worst thing that can happen is nobody buys it, and nobody's buying it right now, so it's pretty much only one way it can go.

See you all in the next post!
