My #SaturdayMemories
Somehow it turns out that I consistently miss the #saturdaymemories challenge from @olga.maslievich, although every time I set out to write some memories. You probably need to start making posts on Saturday in advance, because in general there is something to tell.
Today I will tell you about what happened exactly a year ago! The feeling that fate itself, or rather notifications from Google photos felt that it was time to sit down to write the text.
So, exactly a year ago, my younger brother finally officially finished school and got a certificate! You know, this is the moment that not only my parents were waiting for, but also older sister (that is, me), who was tired of periodically taking a school course for the second time.
The solemn ceremony of issuing certificates and sending children to adult life took place in the Philharmonic. Although, I'm going to put on my glasses and be a bit of a boring historian and fact lover.
In fact, this room is a synagogue of the Orthodox Ashkenazi Jewish community in Uzhhorod, and the Transcarpathian Regional Philharmonic uses this building for its concerts and other celebrations. In general, I will write about this building in more detail in the near future, but now about something else.
As always, the solemn part of the event took place with speeches by teachers, principal, some parents and the graduates themselves. Well, all the time that we were sitting insight, on the street raging Armageddon. This is a kind of weather tradition of Uzhhorod, to try to wash away all the children at the last bell. Honestly, it happened all 10 years of my education and my brother's education.
Our joint photo of that day is only one. Immediately after the festive event. And I practically begged for this photo in the following dialogue:
- Let's take a picture
- No.
- Please
- I do not like it
- Come on, I will not touch you for a year with a request to selfie
- Okay
As you can see, my brother is not a big fan of photography. Today he is a proud student of the Faculty of International Relations and still does not like to be photographed 😊
