Jack...

The man behind one of the most famous and used centralized social media apps in the world, called twitter. That app where many hivers shill our tinny little blockchain and the marvelous world we've build around here. Jack doesn't know about us though, or he doesn't want to admit he knows about us.

But one thing is clear for me, and that's the fact that often times when Jack Dorsey talks about Bitcoin and decentralization and how he's planning on revamping twitter to make it a blockchain social media app, I can't help myself from laughing and thinking that he's actually trying to replicate Hive...

I don't follow Jack, by the way, I have even blocked him after twitter banned Donald Trump, thus I will confess that I found this screenshot on someone else's profile. I am an advocate of freedom of speech, thus I can't stand this guy that helped the elites, indirectly through his social media app, to rug the elections in the US.

This post is not about elections, but about Jack's attempt to replicate Hive. At first he was talking about somehow putting twitter on a blockchain and make it decentralized... Bad joke... Now he's shilling the possibility of every twitter account to be linked with a Lightning wallet.

What would one use that, for payments and tipping? Well, we already have that on Hive. The main incentive about Hive is the so called tipping, in our case rewards coming from upvotes on posts, and that's no novelty for us. If we take the Steem experience into account we have this for over four years now.

Useless to mention that transfer speeds for Hive are insanely fast. Hence, we already have here what most of the stuff Jack wants to bring to twitter. We have even more than that, like DEXs, NFT games, DeFi...

Your move, twitter.

The only thing we lack and it's still overlooked is the damn marketing this blockchain should have. A bit of marketing and this thing would take off. I am absolutely sure about. I've worked in sales and I know marketing weighs heavy on a product's sales. I am a small fish in the pond though, why do I even bother...

The idea is that often times when I see such tweets coming from Jack Dorsey, it feels like he's discovering fire while we're already having barbecues in here. Not laughing at you, Jack! Go shill crypto and blockchain on twitter, indirectly you're gonna advertise our small piece of world to...

Hope everybody has a great weekend and see you to the next post! If you follow Jack on twitter, please let him know about Hive and that he can create an account, directly from twitter in like seconds, thanks to Leofinance.

Thanks for attention, Adrian
