Hello everyone!

My name is Adam Davis, my spirit animal is a white tiger, and I am an economics major from Indiana University. I run a network of websites, with most of them having to do with finance. I feel I have a lot in common with LEO Finance, and that is why I have chosen to be here!

I have been in Crypto for many years now and used to have my own mining warehouse. I really love what has been created here on Hive, and this community seems truly wonderful, and I hope to be able to connect with many of you on here. In addition, I am going to share some of my financial knowledge to possibly help someone out too, as well as to strengthen my own understanding of it, Thanks!

So last night I heard something interesting, that when communicating to a large number of people there are some bizarre occurrences. For instance, if you tell 100 people to do 1 thing a large percentage will do that one thing. However, if you tell that same 100 people to do 1 thing out of 3 different choices the percentage of people doing SOMETHING will decrease. Then if you tell that same 100 people 10 things and to choose 1, even less will participate.

I guess I do not really know the reason for this but it is interesting and got me thinking. What ONE thing do I want people to know about personal finance? What is the core at which I am teaching?

##my Core Financial Principle: Make a Plan. Even better, try and start a budget and plan your finances!

I know the reason why people don’t. It is hard to get started so you might try for a little bit then give up. “Children do what feels good. Adults devise a plan and follow it.”

With this core in mind I am saying nothing about what your plan needs to be., but I have shared the above image as a guide! So there should be ZERO reluctance, you can PLAN anything you want. If you want to eat out $400 a month, that is fine. I am just telling you to do it on purpose and plan accordingly!

If my passion is to help people stay away from financial distress this is how to stay away from it. I honestly believe that in pretty much most things in life, the more you prepare for something the better it will be.

Side Note: If you are a Spiritual Person, then part of that preparation is prayer & meditation, and connecting & being in tune with my higher power, which is the backbone to my strong spirit!

Now 70% of Americans are living paycheck to paycheck. The average Japanese family saves around 18% while the average American family saves a whopping -2%. These are scary statistics people and I know it is because most of these people just don’t have a plan, because nobody would CHOOSE to be in that situation. If you are not already doing so, think about setting up a budget and planning your finances for the future. This is the true first step in becoming financially successful

I hope this didn't come off too strong, but I wanted to share my foundation and core principle of finance to possibly help someone in need. I plan to post on here a lot more, and expect much lighter and more humorous material on top of great financial value and help!

Thanks, Adam Davis
