Each day or so I run a quick check on the Bitcoin market sentiment. The general idea is that we can get a quick pulse on the overall market and see how the mass media is currently portraying BTC along with the price action recently.

I am the biggest proponent of KISS - Keep it Simple Stupid.

A quick way that I check the BTC market sentiment is by going to google and typing Bitcoin.

When you type Bitcoin, you'll get a screen like the above.

This tells us te top news stories along with the current price of BTC and even the trending Tweets of the day related to Bitcoin.

Simply from this screenshot, what can we glean about the general BTC market sentiment?

First of all, BTC is breaking recent highs at $13681 USD.

Secondly, there's a news story about $1 trillion being a conservative BTC market cap.

Next we see more "TA" about BTC metrics that are positive. Revolutions are being made with BTC.

And finally, the Tweets. We see famous BTC proponents and magazines talking about Bitcoin its incredible potential. Bitcoin is becoming the most important topic in the world, once again.

In essence, sentiment feels like mid 2017. Let's see where we end up in the next 2 months but it seems like it'll be a fun ride from here.

I like running these quick sentiment checks on various cryptos that I'm interested in and the broader industry as well. I might start posting these a sentiment series of posts regularly if there's interest here on Leofinance.
