This post is inspired by an email reply i was writing to a friend about some used clothing he had given me. i decided to post it instead and send him link to this post. i did recruit him to Hive three years ago but never made a post then lost his keys. Duh! #bitwarden bro!
Re. Clothes
Some friendly, non-judgemental unsolicited advice for you: You could, if you choose, cut down a lot of your expenses, by not buying designer clothes then discarding them (or giving to me) when there's still probably 5 - 10 years life in them. Shirts for work - make an exception if you think it best, but for casual wear? Bro!
It is much easier (and environmentally friendly) if we choose to reduce consumption than to attempt to increase income. If we do this, it can enable us to have much more free time to express our creativity however we choose, whether that is growing life giving organic food, crafting beautiful furniture, home-educating our children, making music, painting pictures, or even playing poker :-)
Do you really want to be working ?50-60? hrs per week for the next 10-20 years? Also bear in mind also that jobs bringing the income needed to maintain your current choice of lifestyle may well fall by the wayside as the current corrupt systems collapse, as they inevitably will.
This is what we have been programmed to do by the #powersthatshouldntbe using their #massmurdermachine comprising schools, newspapers, tv programs, movies, food & medical industries and of course puppet politicians, #criminalbankers, #murderingmilitary and a while lot more, and of course taxation to fund them all. Instead if using thier violent systems we can choose instead, step by step, to transition to life giving decentralised solutions, some already in existence and others in progress.

Unless we start making better choices, withdrawing our energy and support from these #weaponsofmassdestruction which are designed to extract every last morsel of energy from the common people until we die (far sooner than we would otherwise), then we will keep that cycle of violence going so our children and grand children also become slaves of the system.
