Why I Stopped Mining Koinos?

It started out really great, I got about 2000 KOIN in the first few days when mining just began. With the average MH/s of 7 and proof frequency 4, I got some transactions coming in at least once in a couple of hours. That's how I got to 2000. Then as I saw that every time I'm getting less KOIN than before, I decided to change my proof frequency from 4 to 2 and see how it goes.

^ My KOIN balance right now ^

Then a funny thing happened. I left my computer to mine KOIN overnight and manually turned off my monitor so it doesn't increase my energy bill. After going to sleep pretty late, I was the one to wake up after my girlfriend. As I opened my bedroom door and saw the computer on without KOIN running in the background, I immediately understood how she did it. She tried moving the mouse to check if the pc is on but as nothing happened, she pressed the power button to turn on the pc although it was already on.

Then it came to her too. The monitor was turned off and now she just turned off the computer. Shit happens, right? I can't say if there would be an incoming transaction in the hours when KOINOS wasn't turned on because it works more like a game of luck but as it was switched off, there was no way that I'll earn more KOIN. I left the miner working with some hashes for the next 24 hours and only got one transaction in about 36 hours.

After this, I decided to increase my PF to get some payouts and spend the ETH that I used to fill up my KOINOS miner. In the last few days, I've now mined about 500 KOIN with a total of 2541 KOIN in my wallet. I will definitely hold them and see where this new chain goes. A little less than 6 months until the mining ends and the main-net is released. Maybe in these 6 months mining will again become a bit easier, like it was in the first days, but I highly doubt it.
