Completed all my Hive Goals for 2021

It has been more than a few weeks since I wrote about my Hive goals. Today I'm very glad to share that I have completed all the Hive goals that I have set myself for 2021. One of the biggest goals in that was to reach 27k Hive power. I initially thought about having only 25k Hive power before the end of the year but then I pushed myself a little hard and I thought it should be possible for me to reach 27k and reach there. If I had set to 30k it still would have been possible but I might have to sell some of my tokens and token earnings to reach that. But yeah I'm really glad that I was keeping a lot of Hive. Now many people are realizing that it is good to have more Hive.

I'm actually going to complete the year with even more than 27k Hive power. The price of Hive is pretty good and when the price of Hive is good, getting more HP from post and curation reward is also out of the question as the Hive payout will be less. Good that HBD will be still the same. In spite of that, I was able to reach my goal. This is definitely a happy moment for me.

Now I'm starting to wonder if I should be converting my Hive to HBD and put it inside savings to grab that juicy 12% interest. I have to admit that it is even higher than how much we can get from curation. It is also less risky too. But I guess 12% may not be the case for a longer period of time. Maybe the witnesses wanted to keep it 12% as long as the supply of HBD stabilizes. It can again get back to 10 percent too. There are possibilities. But I wish it stays at 12% forever or even more than that to attract many investors.

My goals progress

I'm glad that I was able to complete all the goals. Some of the goals were a bit challenging but I'm glad that I was able to complete everything. STEM was something that I couldn't achieve by just earning alone. I decided to place a buy order in the market and that is also done now. Actually most of the tokens I have exceeded my goal limit and I have way more tokens than what I initially set myself as a goal.

Now that I'm very glad to complete the goal for 2021, I'm seriously looking forward to setting some goals for 2022 as well. I guess it is going to be one of the biggest years in crypto history like how 2021 was a big year for many of us. I have to be very honest that most of my earnings happened in 2021 and it was indeed a great experience. I'm planning to write a separate post detailing my 2021 crypto experience. It should be fun to write about it. I'm having the same or even better hopes in 2022 for it to be the best crypto year.
