Travel the World of Postage Stamps - Miniatures from Fedoskino - Summer Troika, Vladimir A. Nalimov (1974) - USSR, Soviet Union 1977 - Michel USSR 4585 - my hobby.

Greetings friends!

Some images on postage stamps, in the light of an understanding of the political, cultural and social structure of the country where they were issued, may look strange.

Today we will see a postage stamp called Summer Troika, Vladimir A. Nalimov (1974), from series Miniatures from Fedoskino, issued in the USSR in 1977, which received a face value of 14 kopecks of the USSR.

What's so strange about this postage stamp?

We see a picture in the Fedoskino style, which shows us the fun of wealthy nobles, who staged races on carts, which were harnessed to three horses.

Only very wealthy nobles could afford such a luxury.

Strange, the Soviet Union fought against the manifestation of tsarism and nobility, but we see differently on the postage stamp.

The fact is that the troika of horses symbolizes the war machine invented in the USSR under the name "Tachanka".

A machine gun of the "Maxim" system was installed at the stern of the cart, and the three horses made it possible to rapidly change position and fight both during the offensive and during the retreat.

In fact, it was one of the first tanks, but it was only a cart, which was harnessed to three horses.

We see such a symbol on a postage stamp.

Let's take a look at this postage stamp.
