Hive in the society:A Payment Solution

I've been on this community for nearly three years and in that space of time, the platform has meant an array of things from cryptocurrency, business and even a social media. The point is, it can be a lot of things and depending on how you tweak the technology or even community, you can use it to achieve real-life changes in your society.

I spend more time than I'd like to admit on Hive, clicking, curating, reading and all that shit. That's great and all but sometimes I also think about real-world applications of Hive, like using it as a payment solution for example.

Making Hive mainstream will entail taking steps to simplify the process of getting an account, and of course, using it. So in a way, we could say that one could use Hive blockchain as a bank account/mobile wallet for making fast and free transactions in their business for any volume of transaction. You can also use it for making small or large payments alike.

While Hive may thrive as a social media platform and offers the allure of earning from content, I believe that an exclusive mobile wallet would go a long way in achieving the goal. Hive is a currency with intrinsic value, thus, it really should be used in pretty much the same way we use fiat.
